Absolutely fantastic. Didn't change a thing and everyone in my family asked for seconds. Thanks for sharing! :)

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2014
So good! My husband and three boys ate more than half the pan in one sitting. I used 1/4 cup apple cider instead of 1/2 cup water. I cut white sugar by 1/4 cup. I used 2 tsp cinnamon and also added a dash of nutmeg and clove. I also increased the topping by 50% but left the brown sugar the same amount. Thanks for sharing!

Savory Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2012
this was so good! My 1 1/2 year old even ate it and he's not a big fan of meat. I didn't have marmalade though so i used 2 Tbsp of honey and lightly squeezed out the juice of 1/2 an orange.... folled everything else to the T. I will probably double the sauce next time.

Broccoli Chicken Divan

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2012
It was a good recipe but i tweaked it for personal taste... i made my own cream of chicken soup base (milk, cornstarch, flour, onion powder, turmeric, chicken boullion) since i didn't have any cans on hand. i added 1/2 cup mayo and 1/4 tsp curry powder too. i mixed all the ingredients together instead of layering. it came out wonderful. i do think that it's not necessary to steam the broccoli, i think it made it too mushy and i only steamed it for 2 minutes then ran it under cold water. i will definitely make this again!

Snow Flake Cocoa

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2012
thank you for sharing! i'll never want to use the packaged stuff again! i don't have a slow cooker so i used a covered pot on the stove set to low... and i only had hershey's bliss milk chocolates, so i chopped them up and used that instead of white chocolate. came out smooth and delicious!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2012
i will be making this again for sure! i used some left over canadian bacon instead of ham b/c that's all we had, and used chicken broth instead of wine b/c i'm pregnant and didn't want to open a bottle (and waste the rest) just for this meal. i used raw whole milk instead of whipping cream because we didn't have any- it still came out delicious! thanks for posting!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2012
delish! definitely will be making this again. several changes: i boiled the veggies (and added 2/3 cup potatoes) in chicken broth. i cooked the ckicken separately in sauteed garlic cloves (2, minced), seasoned with seasoning salt and garlic powder. for the sauce i upped the onion to 2/3cup, used 1/2 cup flour, 2 cups chicken broth and just under 1 cup milk, and added a 1/4 tsp corn starch. i also mixed everything together before putting into a homemade piecrust so that i could check the flavor and add seasoning as needed. i baked for 45 mins at 375. came out perfect! :)

Snowballs II

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2011
These are my favorite cookies! I'm so glad I came across this recipe. Thanks for sharing!!! :) The ONLY thing I did differently was that I used 2 tsp vanilla extract instead of 1... and I'm not a fan of mint so I didn't use the candy canes.

Onion Chicken in Balsamic Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2011
This was sooo good! I made 50% more sauce and served it over penne pasta. I also used boneless skinless chicken and added 2 Tbsp butter and 1 Tbsp spicy sweet mustard to the sauce right before pouring it over the chicken. def will be making this again.
