Fun and easy to make, although it made one BIG King Cake! It did seem a tiny bit dry, but was perfect the next day. I put a mixture of cream cheese, pecans brown sugar & cinnamon as the filling. Also flung some rum into my icing, just for fun. Yum!

This recipe is perfect as is; was just like my mom used to make. The adding of gingersnaps seemed odd (I don't know what my mom used to add to sweeten the gravy) but they both sweetened up and thickened the gravy perfectly! I served it with red cabbage and potato dumplings. Will definitely make again!

Aha! Amaretto was what I was missing all this time...Almost perfect! I say almost & rated this 4 stars instead of 5 only because to be perfect, I'd have to be drinking this in New Orleans! Also, i added a splash more dark rum cuz i love it so.

Perfectly delicious & super-easy to make. I'll be making these a lot. :) I do need a larger size muffin pan to double the recipe and make bigger muffins...they're THAT yummy!

Buffalo Chicken Burgers with Blue Cheese Dressing

Made these just tonight....Loved them! I followed recipe, except instead of celery salt I use celery seed (what I had, and didn't miss the x-tra bit of salt. Also, a bit more cayenne & Frank's Red Hot, as we like spicy) :) My hubby loved em too. Definitely will make again...probably next week!

Italian Tomato Pasta Salad

Perfect at the end of a hot summer day. I would've loved it as is, but in order to satisfy my husband's "need" for meat, I added some chicken. We both loved it!

Grilled Hawaiian Chicken and Pineapple Sandwiches

I love pineapple on my pizza, so I knew I would like this recipe. Simple yumminess! I used a teriyaki sauce for the chicken....used cheddar cheese, and instead of the dressing, just mixed a tiny bit of the teriyaki in some mayo. Definitely will make again :P

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Love this recipe! And what could be easier than tossing frozen chicken in a crock pot?! I made it with Frank's Red Hot, and tossed in a bit of regular ranch dressing, as that's all I had, and it came out perfect...the hubby loved it! As far as spicy, well, we consider Buffalo sauce to be pretty mild....we tossed some Tabasco on our sandwiches, too, for a little more kick. And some blue cheese dressing & lettuce...YUMMMM! Definitely a recipe I'll use again and again. :)
