Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2010
Just awesome!! I didn't have any italian dressing so I made some with the equally awesome recipe on this site (and used the leftovers for salad).

Carrie's Artichoke and Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2010
I used half the butter, and subbed cherry tomatoes (only because I didn't have sundried) and this was seriously AWESOME!

Wisconsin Native's Beer Cheese Soup

Reviewed: May 7, 2010
In the recipes defense, I had been craving this for a couple of weeks so maybe my expectations were just too high but it didn't do it for me and I no longer crave it.

Peppery Shrimp and Rice

Reviewed: May 7, 2010
Delicious!! Since chile sauce is pretty vague I ended up using an Indian curry paste the first time and garlic chili (the oriental kind with the green lid) the next time. I liked it both ways but have to say that it is PHENOMENAL with a spicy curry paste (use regular if you don't like spicy). I've made it with broth and sherry and DEFINITELY prefer it with sherry but broth will do in a pinch. I also add 1-2 tbs cajun seasoning from this site (thus cutting down or omitting herbs to taste), used half the sugar, and just a red bell. So easy when you use frozen shrimp and so worth it. I'd say it's a cross between a really good cajun sauce and a Mexican diabla sauce.

Crab Ceviche

Reviewed: May 7, 2010
Followed recipe to the tee. Crab seemed lost and all the only strong tastes were from the onion and lemon.

Sounded so promising. Super easy, just not very good.

Crazy Chicken Marinade Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2009
This is a great start. I loved how juicy it made my chicken but it had too much going on for grilled chicken.

I melted half milk and half semi-sweet on the stove and swirled the wands and sprinkled on the decorations. Delicious and fun!

Outrageous Warm Chicken Nacho Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2009
Yum! I'd definitely use a little more jalapeno to spice it up next time but it was very good. Not nearly as good as leftovers however so make what you need.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2009
great!! The only thing I would change for next time is to use fresh tomatoes or low sodium canned ones instead of regular canned so it isn't as salty. I didn't add the extra salt it called for and it was still far too salty.

Red Lentil Curry

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2009
Sooo good!! It's not easy to make a hearty yet delicious vegetarian meal and this hits the spot. For those who said it needed more spice try using a hot curry paste and getting your chili powder from an indian market. It really does make a difference.
