Japanese Beef Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2013
Used 16oz bag of frozen 'asian mix veggies', about one cup of frozen chopped onions, and one cup of frozen chopped bell peppers. Also substituted beef with chicken breast cut into thin strips, and chicken broth (made from a bouillon cube). Didnt have cornstarch, so based on the internet - I substituted with double flour. Everything came out fantastic! I loved it! But it did make a *lot* of sauce and it was pretty salty (I love salt, so I dont mind really). In the future Ill probably use less soy sauce. Made a good amount too! Ill likely freeze into smaller portions since Im just myself. :)

Rich and Creamy Tomato Basil Soup

Reviewed: May 2, 2011
This is my guilty pleasure soup, since it cant be good for you. I make it exactly as the recipe calls for, only I about double the amount of basil. I use canned peeled tomatoes, with the seeds. I puree the tomatoes before simmering (I leave them kinda chunky), and when done I just add a small bit back into my food processor along with the basil. Ill also say, this time around I made a stupid mistake and accidentally bought v-8 juice instead of tomato juice. So I used the 1c of tomato juice that was in the canned tomatoes, 2c of v-8, and then 1c of bloody mary mix since its richer and more tomato-y than v-8. It still came out fantastic, I honestly couldnt even tell the difference!

Salmon Pasta Salad

Reviewed: May 2, 2011
I used fresh cooked salmon, and probably more pasta (tri colored), and no lettuce or dill weed. Otherwise, followed exactly. Its fantastic! I loved it, and will definitely make again! This is perfect for a dish to bring to a summer cookout party!

Lemon Garlic Tilapia

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2009
So good! I didnt measure my lemon, butter, and garlic, just winged it. Less lemon next time! But it was super good, especially with rice! We made short grain sushi type sticky rice to go with it - it was delicious and perfect! Cant wait to have again!

My Mother's Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2009
This was good! Only thing I will change is adding more cheese! It was more tomato-y than cheesy, and we like lots of cheese! And I think Ill add some garlic. But we loved it!
