Easy Broccoli Quiche

This has become a favorite in my family! The kids ask for it for breakfast the next day. I have made this recipe many times. It is great as written! I have made it a few different ways. I have substituted sausage instead of broccoli, yum! Also, cheddar is a nice cheese for this quiche.

Classic Waffles

Delicious! I used a lot of the previous suggestions, and have one of my own. I used my blender, although my food processor might have done a better job. I did add extra sugar and butter. I also added plenty of vanilla. It did not seem to need these additions, I just wanted them to be super special. I set them on paper towel before serving (to avoid soggy waffle). After making six or so like this, I added a couple of crumbled slices of bacon to the batter. What a hit! Versatile recipe.

Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies II

These cookies were very tasty. I was looking for a soft cookie recipe, they were not the kind of soft I was trying to find. I suppose I need to search for "chewy". I followed the recipe precisely. These were not rock hard, but totally crunchy. I tried as few as 7 minutes in the oven and still were not soft and chewy by the time they cooled. I will keep looking, maybe more baking soda/powder. Oh, and everything in this recipe seems right....shortening and mostly brown sugar are important for a softer result.

Quick and Easy Oatmeal Muffins

Great recipe for a delicious and wholesome treat. I would not change anything. This made a great snack for my kid's lunch. We ate them up so quickly that next time I make these, I will freeze some for quick anytime snacks and to pack in lunches.

Corned Beef and Cabbage II

This recipe was very good as it was. My children enjoyed it...that says a lot. I gave four stars because of that reason. I have not tried brisket that I liked that much. Because I had no peppercorns, I used about 1/2 tablespoon coarse ground black pepper (actually, Meijer pepper supreme). If I make this again, I will put in half the salt and use more pepper or peppercorns.
