Father and Son
About this Cook
My father taught me to cook when I was a boy since my mother owned a small business and worked evenings. I enjoyed spending the time with him and learning. I love when my son and daughter sit on the counter and watch me cook, time together means more than time in front of a television.
My favorite things to cook
My family is semi vegetarian and we consume fish once a week, sometimes less. I enjoy baking bread the most, you can enjoy it for several days once your done.

Real Potato Leek Soup
This is one of my favorite soups. Even my four and five year old eat it. I follow the recipe as listed and it tastes fantastic, I sometimes add a little white wine when I have it on hand.

Super Easy Chicken and Dumplings
I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out great, my only mistake was that I bought the Grands Biscuits so they were twice as big and with two cans they soaked up most of the sauce. We had family in town when I made it and everyone loved it.

Clams Italiano
I grew up in Seattle Washington and pride myself on knowing good seafood. This is a great recipe and very easy to make. My two and three year old enjoyed it as well. Try sour dough with the meal, I think it brings out some very subtle flavors. Good recipe.
