I am a contemporary painter and jewelry artist living in the mountains of Western North Carolina near Asheville. I have always loved cooking and eating, My husband always calls me the "hungriest girl in the world" but raves to his friends that he can tell me anything he wants for dinner and Ill cook it!! whether I know how to or have to "do the research" I consider it a challenge. Some work and some dont LOL... but its the Journey not the Destination Right!!??(well, maybe in food , the destination is pretty important!!)
My favorite things to cook
thai,(basil chicken , beef salad, tom yum soup) any asian foods, french, (grouper margurey), Bouillabaisse ,german , grandma's recipe for Sauerbraten, Rouladen, spaetzle,dumplings, and on and on....

I also would double the sauce . I did think it was a little strong so I added a bit of heavy cream at the end . The cream gave it a real gourmet look (and taste too!)

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken
the concept is great, I used a 3lb chicken and placed it on the foil, cooked it on high for 4 hours. was perfect, I added flour to the drippings in the crockpot and made gravy. my one complaint would be the chicken needs alot more seasoning...under the skin.. I love szeged chicken rub so maybe a little of that and poultry seasoning would help.
