Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: May 21, 2012
Family loved this, even the picky 8 year old! I did have to decrease the "Rooster sauce" and I added some corn starch dissolved in water after 10-12 minutes of cooking and it thickened the sauce right up very quickly and did not alter the taste. I just had to stir it constantly after adding to prevent burning or clumping. I'll make this again!

Golden Sweet Cornbread

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2010
I'm raging this a 4 as it's just so easy to make. I did find it to be a bit dry as well, but I add 2 eggs & less sugar and it comes out perfect.

Baked Potato Skins

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2009
Yumm! My husband, kids and I loved this! It came out very good, but I did use less oil than called for at the advice of others. They were just like in the restaurant, but a lot cheaper! I will definitely be making these again!

Strawberry Torte

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2009
This was delicious and very easy! Our friends recommended we make it again and asked for the recipe. The only problem I had was getting the lady's fingers to stand up around the side of the pan; they kept falling over like dominoes. When I lined the bottom first, it did help a bit. I think if I had purchased the shorter cookies, it would have been easier. I'll try that next time. Thanks for the recipe!

LuvAnn's Guacamole

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2007
Great recipe. I usually hate guacamole, but my husband and I inhaled this in one sitting. I did use less salt and I also used 1/2 of a Vidalia onion instead of a yellow onion. It gave it a great sweet taste. I'm sure even a white sweet onion would work also. Thanks so much for this recipe! I'm addicted!

Slow Cooker Sweet and Tangy Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2004
My husband said he really liked this, but I thought it was only ok. My four year old also thought it was ok but not great. We ended up using the leftover chicken in Fabulous Fajitas (another recipe on this site) and the tangy flavor tasted good in the fajita! Liked it better that way. Might not make again.

Easy Pepperoni Bread

Very yummy! I can't get together with my friends without promising to bring some of this with me. It always gets gobbled up and never are there leftovers!

Fabulous Fajitas

This was so good and so easy. Even my four year old asked to have it again the next night. The seasonings were just right. Thanks for a great recipe!

This was so yummy! Very light and tasty. The taste of the blue cheese with the strawberries was awesome. Will definitely make again!

House Fried Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2004
This was a very easy and good way to use leftovers. We had some leftover pork, so I made pork fried rice and it came out awesome. I added an extra egg, but other than that stuck with the recipe. Even my 4 year old ate this. Thanks!

Awesome Roast Beef

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2004
This was so moist and delicious. I added Lipton Beefy Onion soup mix which gave it a great flavor. I also added carrots and the juices leftover made a great gravy after adding some corn starch and salt and pepper. Couldn't ask for an easier dinner. Great recipe; we'll use this again!

Ginny's Cheezy Macaroni

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2003
This recipe would have been great if I'd actually read the recipe right. I cooked the macaroni before putting it in the pan which resulted in a large, milky mess. I could tell by the few top pieces that made it, that it would have tasted good had I done it correctly. Now I know to use raw macaroni for the next time and I do plan on trying again! Oh well...OOPS!

Frogmore Stew

Reviewed: May 24, 2003
This was great! I had friends over for dinner and everyone loved this. Easy to cook, tasted great, and hardly anything to clean up; esp. with paper plates and plastic forks! Great for an outside barbecue/ picnic type setting, just have plenty of napkins!

Best Unsteamed Shrimp

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2003
This is by far the best and easiest shrimp recipe I've ever made. Even my finicky husband likes it. I cut the Old Bay just a little, it was a bit too salty with the full amount the recipe called for, but otherwise amazing!

Melt In Your Mouth Toffee

Great recipe, but get ready to get some cavities. This is good, but very sweet! Can only eat a small amount at a time, but it eventually all goes!

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2002
This was ok, but I don't think it was as good as some others have thought. The chicken was kind of bland. Not sure if I'd make this again.

Old Bay® Shrimp Fest

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2002
This was good, but not as spicy as I had hoped. I couldn't really taste the Old Bay...I'll probably use less water next time so the spices aren't as diluted. Will try again, though. I love Old Bay!

Buttery Nipple

I really love these! I like a sweeter drink, and these are really great as a winter type drink. It's like drinking flavored milk...dangerous that way also!
