About this Cook
I love to cook, it is my way to create and treat people to something delicious. I like to know that I had a little part in giving someone pleasure by what I prepared. But cooking isn't my life, I am a mother of 2.5 children who make me so happy and I am married to the most wonderful husband. We live on a small farm where we raise chickens for eggs and goats for milk; it is a work in progress with more failure than success it seems some days but it is wonderful to be carving out a little piece of earth.

Campbell's Kitchen Chicken Broccoli Divan
This recipe was good, but not great. It is easy and on nights when my husband is incharge of dinner this works. However, I found it to be bland, uninventive and lacking, so I spiced it up with some potatos that I cubed and boiled till they split nicely with a fork, chopped a quarter of an onion and threw it in. I also added some Mexican Velvetta for a zing. It was good and it worked for a cold day. I will probably make it again but I prefer something with a little more flavor.

Cheesy Potato and Corn Chowder
This chowder was yummy-tummy! I like things spice and this was splendidly spice,very nice flavor and a great mix of textures. I was sceptical about the gravy mix, but it was perfect. I thought Velvetta? What? I didn't even know they still made it, let alone in a Mexican variety. But boy did it turn out delicious! I followed the recipe down to the T, but I would like to try some of the variations. I did add bacon to my husbands and he loved it! Great recipe, thanks for sharing!

Romano Cheese Crisp
Delicious! I love cheese; cream, romano, cheddar, blue, whatever, anyway...this combo was totally yummy! Melt in your mouth cheesy but deliciously crispy on the sliced bread. I used a bagette and a tbs of fresh parsley for color and it was really a crowd pleaser!
