The Easiest Way To Cook Bacon

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2015
Have baked our bacon for several years, never had a problem with splattering grease in the oven. For a special treat my husband sometimes rolls the bacon in brown sugar and sprinkles with a bit of cayenne, IT IS DIVINE!!

Pistachio Cake II

Reviewed: May 21, 2010
LOVE THIS!! made it for my fiancee's birthday who is obsessed with pistachio anything.... I gave it four stars only because I did switch it up a smidge.. used large tub of cool whip ... added another 1/2 package of pudding to the cake , added pistachios to cake and sprinkled then on top and had to use peanut oil( I was out of vegetable) Turned out great and super moist.. will definitely make again!!

Best Toffee Ever - Super Easy

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
Just made my first batch of candy..ever!! Turned out great except... I was impatient and put one pan in the freezer to cool and it turned a milky beige while the other pan (from the same batch) was a beautiful beige, it's texture was also different, kinda gritty like others mentioned. I did not use any chocolate but just mixed in chopped almonds at the end right before I poured... it turned out great!! Sure it would be great with choc. too !! Get getting ready to make batches 2,3,4,and 5. yes I like it!

Black Magic Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2009
I have never made a "from scratch" cake before and I have to say.. this recipe was a cinch! Moist and delicious! I was worried about all the troubles other reviewers were having with getting it out of the pan. I greased with crisco and floured well, put it straight from the oven into the freezer for about 20 minutes. Took it out and knocked on the sides and bottom and Voila! out it popped! I made this for my sister's bday and will make again for my nephew's... Goodbye boxed cake mixes!!! oh.. I increased the time by about 5min.:)

Chocolate Ganache

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2009
Absolutely decadent!! I used this with the Black Magic Cake from AR. Made a two layer cake and for the filling added 1/4 cup powdered sugar and let my mixer whip on high for a good 10minutes. Came out light and fluffy...Perfect!

Nutty Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2009
OK.. quite bland... won't make again without some serious tweaking. The flavor of the pecans was nice paired with the mushroom but that is about where it ends.

Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2009
I made this just as the recipe calls for although I did pour some of the marinade into the fry pan and let the chicken cook in it.YUMMY!! The chicken was very moist and the sauce is incredible. I made this with roasted vegatables and sopped the vegetables up in the sauce. Next time I will definitely take others advice and make extra sauce. My fiancee loved it and the appreciative noises at the table ensured this one to go directly into my recipe box.
