Simple Peanut Squash

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2010
I enjoyed this very much, having made one adjustment. I did not keep the foil on the whole time as I wanted the sugar to reduce and carmelize the squash. It was tasty. But next time I think I'll add some cinnamon to the mix.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies IV

Reviewed: May 29, 2010
Omigosh these are good. I used craisins as I'm not a raisin fan. I upped the cinnamon a wee bit, and used sliced almonds instead of pecans as that's what I had to hand. I think the soaking probably does help as it softens the fruit somewhat, however, it's probably equally fine not to soak them too. Also, I used baking powder instead of soda.

Gourmet Mushroom Risotto

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2009
I did this pretty much as written except that I cut the mushrms in half and used dry sherry instead of white wine. Sherry goes so well with mushrooms.

Maple Glazed Ribs

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2009
This is a really tasty way to fix ribs. We've had them twice and will certainly have them again. And unusually, I wouldn't change any of the ingredients!
