Magical Egg Salad

Reviewed: May 10, 2012
Excellent. I didnt have sweet relish opened and didnt want to struggle with the big jar for such a little bit so I chopped up a big dill pickle and used it. This was good and a new twist on egg salad.

Beanie-Weenie

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2009
i know youre not supposed to change the recipe however, this is made especially good if you fry the hotdogs with a little onion n a pan first and right before you add the beans sprinkle in a little brown sugar and put the heat way down and let them simmer a while. i did everything else how the recipe called for and it was easy and good.

Kahlua & Club Soda

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2009
i was a bartender for about ten years and if youre looking for something with a little more kick try this..... fill your glass with ice and then add the kahlua and a shot of vodka. then fill with the soda. if you have a friend who needs a kick put two straws in it and race to the bottom... tennessee mind eraser is what they call it here. happy drinking.

wow! im not big on mixed up ketchup mayo mustard stuff but this was so good. i did add some chopped sweet pickle because i was trying to make it like the sauce on jumbo jacks. it was exceptional and even my husband said wow thats good stuff. it makes alot and i scaled it down to 5 servings. i will def make this again. it was better after it chilled in the fridge a couple hours but it was good after i made it too. thanks so much.

Grandma's Pork Chops in Mushroom Gravy

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
i subbed apple juice for the sherry since i dont keep it on hand and this is by far one of the best pork chop recipe ive tried on this site. i did add about a half of a sliced white onion to the pan when i did the garlic and i sprinkled the chops with ms dash before i cooked them. very slight changes i dont think altered the recipe a bit. this was amazing and great with mashed potatoes green beans and a tomato salad. ill make this alot this winter!

Quick and Simple Broccoli and Cheese

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2011
i really liked that this used cheddar cheese instead of velveeta since i dont keep velveeta on hand very often and its super expensive. i used extra sharp cheddar cheese and i did make a slight change i steamed my broccoli and then melted the butter with a quarter cup of half n half and added the cheese slowly to make a creamy sauce. very good.

I always make another whole chicken recipe from here but I think Ill start swapping it up with this one. A beautiful bird and smelled so good. I did shove both lemon halves into the cavity. Served with broc cheese rice and a green salad and french bread. It didnt feel like a weeknight meal!

Roast Beef Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2010
i made this and it was okay not great but okay. i actually took it away from my husband and tweaked it after a few bites. i added finely chopped onion, hot sauce, a handfull of shredded cheese and crushed cracker crumbs on the top. i baked it at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes to melt the cheese. after that it was ALOT better. I know I changed the recipe entirely but it was a good starting point. served with wheat thins. it was all gone.

Zinfandel Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2011
i used red wine vinegar for this and used it in another pasta salad recipe i found that i needed a red wine dressing for. when i tasted this i thought the basil was a little brave with this and would cut it down next time. other than that solid recipe really and the measurements ( with the exception of the basil) are pretty right on. thanks.
