Grilled Picante BBQ Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2012
I didnt use chicken breasts I used chicken legs. I followed everything else to the letter. My little girl liked this and it wasnt too spicy for her. She did dip hers into ranch and my step son followed suit. I dont know if I will make this again but it was easy.

Chili Dog Casserole I

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2012
I spread the mustard on the buns first and I didnt tear them up my buns were day old so no chance they would get soggy. I cut the cheese in half because its so pricey right now. This was a good weeknight dinner with a salad. Thanks

Southern Fried Green Beans

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2012
ive made these three times now. green beans seem to be about the only veggie my family wants as a side lately. the second time i made them i deviated from the recipe a little bit. i used less bacon ( 2 strips i snipped with a scissor) and i added a splash of bottled italian dressing. makes sort of a sweet and sour green bean. very good.

Lite Italian Salad Dressing

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2012
i used olive oil since i didnt have corn oil. this is nothing special its pretty tangy but its really basic. it worked fine on a simple pasta salad with tomatoes and cheese. if i make it again i would cut the vinegar some but not up the oil.

Broccoli Cheese Soup VII

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2012
This was a last minute choice when I realized I didnt have the salad I wanted to make for dinner. I didnt use the processed cheese I used cheddar and I subbed evaporated milk for the heavy cream. I used 2% milk. This was ok I changed it based on what I had on hand. I thought it was salty but nobody else mentioned it. I served it with home made garlic croutons, a half baked potato each and leftover cucumber onion and tomato salad.

Ranch-Style Fajitas

We liked this. I used 2 whole peppers and 2 pounds of cheap flank steak. I used lemon juice since thats what I had on hand. The leftovers will make a good steak salad for dinner.

Italian Butter

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2012
I brushed this on bread and broiled it to go with pasta. It made the bread nice and crisp and not too greasy. I might try it as a dip next time but this time I bent it to my needs. Thanks

Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2012
I wanted a soup for my dinners when I cook a richer meal for my family. I used fresh green beans and beef base instead of the onion soup mix and I subbed stewed tomatoes for the whole ones. I did spice my bowl some with black pepper, garlic, franks hot sauce and some mrs dash. This really filled me up and the whole giant pot was around 6 dollars to make and I will eat on it all week. Impressive.

This isnt complicated but its good. I made taco salads and had soem unseasoned ground beef leftover so I made it into these to have something on hand for my family to eat. I did add a very small squeeze of rooster sauce and some garlic. Very easy simple and good and I always have this stuff on hand. Excellent.

i made this for new years day along with black eyed peas and cornbread. excellent recipe. i didnt have much more than a bite of this, but the guys wiped out a whole pan of it. the only change i made was to use salt free seasoning when i cooked it and i put salt on the table for those who wanted it since i dont cook with alot of salt. i will make this again. they loved it.

i added some pickle relish since my little girl insisted all stuffed eggs have relish 2 teaspoons. i liked these with the green onion! my eggs must have been small because the mayo was too much but i was prepared and added it a little at a time.
