Jay's Jerk Chicken

This did not taste like authentic carribean jerk, it tasted more like the not so tasty botttled stuff they sell at the grocery store. I'm a pretty good cook, i gasped when i saw the amount of soy sauce it called for but didn't trust my gut. Not great.

Easy Biscuits

So.....i had a friend cook these and they came out block hard, but she overmixed the dough. I made them and they flaked nicely. The key is nit to overmix the dough. Add in butter and flour first to make a crumb mixture then gently fold in mix. Pat it down, do not roll out with a roller. Add a little baking powder an use buttermilk for more rise.

Greek Green Beans

I didn't measure anything, but using the ingredients these greens beans taste similar to the kind i've had at greek restaurants. The trick is to cook the beans all the way down until tender. I added a little less than 1 tsp vinegar. I also sauteed the onions in oil before adding them to the already boiling green beans. I think the only thing that could improve these beans is cooking them in a little chicken broth. Otherwise, very good. Also, I was concerned about the sugar but it added something very subtle and good to the dish. Enjoy!

Best Spanish Rice

I appreciate this contribution however this dish was not tasty to me at all. I thought the salsa would blend into the dish for a unique flavor. Instead, it basically tasted like rice with salsa in it.
