me and the man i cook for!!
About this Cook
I love cooking for my soon to be husband. Its always a guess when he's going to be hungry! I'm also a vegetarian and he is far from it, so sometimes it can be a little challenging cooking for him when I don't even know what it tastes like myself.
My favorite things to cook
snacks!!! I love making things i can just whip up real quick! I improvise a lot and change recipes around to see if i can make simpler or the way my guy likes it:-)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Monkey bread every Christmas morning!! i know you can buy it at the store, but blah!!! homemade is sooo much better! and My mama makes it the best:-)
My cooking triumphs
Its such a silly thing, but I finally get how to time everything so it comes out at the same time!! It's a little victory, yet i struggled for a little bit. And now my sis in law who is a fabulous cook) is stealing some of my recipes!! That was awesome!!!
My cooking tragedies
I didn't know brown rice had to cook longer the white! I had this whole meal I was cooking for some friends who where coming over and the rive wasn't done! i was so bummed!

Jalapeno Garlic Tilapia Pasta
i thought this was amazing!! But instead of flour i used powder was an accident at first, but i decided to go with it and it turned out great!!! I coated the shrimp in the sugar and prepared everything else the same and then added a little at the end. Great recipe and its a "do it again" in my fam:-)
