Moist and Easy Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
This is the easiest and best chocolate cake recipe I have ever seen/made. Great for cupcakes as well. Tastes great even without icing! It's the "staple" cake recipe for our house!

One Bowl Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
Completely awesome! So easy! Substituted semi-sweet chocolate chips to make it even easier! Have made this SO much this holiday season and still have more to make as people love it! You will not get a more decadent, rich and creamier fudge then this!

Chunky Chocolate Jam Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
Tasted wonderful and was easy to make! It didn't freeze overly well for me....fell apart easily when thawed. Will definitely make again though! I substituted strawberry jam and semi-sweet chocolate chips.

Spaghetti Pie II

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2009
This was extremely good. I found the recipe was large enough to make 2 pies. I added celery salt to the ground beef and salt and pepper to the spaghetti. I wouldn't change a thing:)

Raisin Surprise Pudding

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2009
This recipe shows that simplicity can often be the best. Knowing that my uncle was a huge fan of raisin recipes I found this and made it up for a thanksgiving dinner yesterday. He LOVED it as well as everyone else who tried it. It didn't look much like the picture but that didn't matter to me or anyone else. Definitely a keeper in my home:)

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2009
I'm rating this 5 stars because I found it great after making a few additions. I added garlic powder and celery salt for the spices. I added chopped green pepper with the onion. You could even add shredded carrot and chopped mushroom for more veggies. I took the advice of others and added lemon juice and worchestershire sauce to the mixture as well as putting the glaze on the top after I poked a few holes into the loaf. I would definitely make it again!

Apple Cake IV

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2009
I came on looking for an apple recipe that didn't require a crust and found this. I was NOT disappointed:) I took it to a church fellowship this evening and everyone had good things to say! The only thing I changed was leaving out the nuts and adding nutmeg. (I always add nutmeg when a recipe calls for cinnamon). The cake was moist and the sweetness and tartness was very well balanced. I'll be making this again for sure!

Hamburger Stew

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2009
This recipe was great. The reason I gave it four stars is because I think if I hadn't added some of the extra ingredients I did then it would've been a bit bland. I added less taco seasoning and think that half a pouch would probably do fine. The seasoning tends to overpower the stew a bit. I also added more vegetables (frozen green bean medley, and a tiny bit of green pepper) and some thyme, sweet basil, garlic powder and a beef bouillon pouch. I also changed the onion for a bunch of chopped green onion. I was pretty happy with the result and how versatile the recipe is. Great one to clean out your fridge with!

Potato Spinach Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2009
My family loved this! I altered a tad because of the fact the sour cream I had had already been turned into French Onion soup mix dip. It added amazing flavoring and I didn't have to add any onion because of it. Another keeper!

A-Number-1 Banana Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2009
Fantastic and so moist! I took the advice of another reviewer and used normal milk with a tsp. of vinegar, and omitted the pinch of salt since I used salted butter. Definitely a keeper!
