About this Cook
I am a married stay at home Christian mom of three kids. I enjoy the internet, reading, writing poetry and short stories, walking, hiking, camping and canoing.
My favorite things to cook
I love making casseroles and crockpot recipes. I tend to like simple recipes with very simple ingredients that can be found easily in my own home. For baking I have a fav. chocolate cake recipe I use often and I bake a lot of muffins. I bake banana bread often as well.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I enjoy baking with my kids.
My cooking triumphs
My chocolate cake is amazing and SO easy!
My cooking tragedies
I have yet to bake a cookie that both bakes and STAYS soft! I have a tendency to get involved with other things while baking and will leave stuff in the oven for too long...lol

One Bowl Chocolate Fudge
Completely awesome! So easy! Substituted semi-sweet chocolate chips to make it even easier! Have made this SO much this holiday season and still have more to make as people love it! You will not get a more decadent, rich and creamier fudge then this!

Spaghetti Pie II
This was extremely good. I found the recipe was large enough to make 2 pies. I added celery salt to the ground beef and salt and pepper to the spaghetti. I wouldn't change a thing:)
