Fruit Tart #2
sweet bliss
About this Cook
The kitchen is my secret laboratory. The spatula my secret weapon. Love, the secret ingredient.
My favorite things to cook
I make and will bake a way to your heart!
My cooking triumphs
Seeing people faces light up and eyes close in pure bliss after taking the first bite of something I made. Their smile and childish grins speaks more than any verbal review possibly given.
My cooking tragedies
Forgetting the cream cheese in my beginning attempts of making cheesecake. Dropping a fresh cake layer while taking it out of the oven.

Honey Walnut Shrimp
Excellent recipe, simple and straight forward, the rice flour is essential. Another way of making glazed walnuts is pan cooking the walnuts on medium heat with sugar until the sugar melts and fully coats the nuts. I used a quarter cup of sugar per cup of nuts ratio, add more or less depending on how much sweetness you want. For another twist, adding a dash of cinnamon or toasted sesame seeds is also effective. I also found that adding a tsp of lemon juice to the mayonnaise and condensed milk mixture brings out the sweet and tangy taste of the sauce.

White Chocolate Fruit Tart
Simple and elegant recipe. Very versatile and any fruit can be used on top. I made this a good dozen times at least for family and social events and have gotten high remarks about taste and presentation every time. A twist you can add to this is substitute the bottom crust with a cookie base. I used one box of lemon cake mix, 1/2 cup of butter, and 1 egg and baked on a 12 inch pizza pan or two small tart pans at 350 for 15-20 mins. Also, you can substitute orange juice instead of lemon juice for the glaze for a sweeter kick if desired.
