Chocolate Lover's Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2013
My husband and even his oworkers ask me to make this all the time. The only change I made was I add 1/4 cup of sugar to the sour cream rather than 2 tablespoons.

Spicy Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2012
This was very hot but otherwise did not have enough flavor. the recipe definitely relied too much on heat. I do think it is a good start though. I think with an addition or two it could be really good. I am thinking about adding this to barbeque sauce and grilling it. It just needs something else added to it.

Awesome Honey Pecan Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2010
Very surprised how good this is! I bought the ingredients for this dish weeks ago but kept putting it off because it wasn't something my husband would normally like....or so I thought. I read most of the reviews and decided to add onions and a small amount if chickrn broth bto the sauce. I also added a little maple syrup along with the 1/4 cup of honey. I spiced up the meat with salt, pepper & cayenne to balance out the sweet taste of the sauce. It was a hit. I was so worried my husband wouldn't like it but we both did.

Detroit Hot Honey Wings

Definitely bake these in the oven after grilling them. it really seals in the flavor and makes them a little crunchy. these are a hit with my family and our guests.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2010
This lasagna is very good if you double all the seasonings except the salt. I followed the recipe exactly the first time and my husband and I both liked it. I doubled the seasonings (except the salt) the last couple of times and it was excellent.

Best Brownies

These were good but the frosting was just too sweet. If you can handle the rich sweet taste this recipe is great!

This recipe was ok. I think the big missing piece is a cream topping.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2010
This recipe is great! my husband said it's as good as his mom's homemade recipe. I chicken broth instead of water. I also add some basil, crushed red pepper & garlic powder. As others suggested I put the biscuits in a hour before it's done. I cut the biscuits into strips and flatten them so they dont turn into saucer-sized dumplings. I prefer low sodium soup to keep it from tasting too salty. very good!

White and Wild Rice Pilaf

I read the reiews that said this recipe was a little bland so I added a jalapeno to the saute mix. I also added some extra spices like crushed red pepper to make it spicy. it was a hit!

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: May 19, 2010
I rated this 5 stars because even though I added some things to it the recipe was still a great base. My husband I absolutely loved it. I soaked the chicken breast in a water/kosher salt/sugar brine for 2 hours beforehand. I added sauted jalapeño, onion and garlic cloves to the stuffing. I also added extra feta plus mozzarella and parmasan cheese. Some seasonings were thrown in too. Like Some other users I cooked the bacon partially before wrapping. Once the chicken breast were stuffed and bacon wrapped I squeezed fresh lemon juice over the top of each so the seasoning would stick. On top I sprinkled Tony's creole seasoning, salt & pepper. This turned out so great. The only thing I'll change the next time I make this is the season the whole chicken breast at the beginning instead of just at the end. I found when biting into just chicken it was too plain. Great recipe!
