This was easy to make. I actually made it twice. The first time i made it just like the recipe and made it in the loaf pan. The second time i changed it and added some nutmeg to the recipe and made it in a bundt cake pan. I didn't need to change the cooking time. It tasted delicious because I also added more mango.

Arroz con Pollo (Chicken and Rice)

Delicious! I used real garlic instead of the goya brand and i added chopped red peppers. It was very good. very authentic. Reminded me of my mom's :)

Classic Pancakes

This is a great recipe...it's very simple and easy and I had everything on hand at home. I didn't use silk but did use 1% milk and also added vanilla extract and made it extra yummy. I made it on the electric griddle I have at home and you have to wait till the pancake starts to bubble and come together on the sides before you flip it.. They came out very fluffy.

The Best Banana Bread

Very good recipe...i made a couple of changes...i added some cinnamon and some vanilla for added flavor...i also put a couple of tablespoons of applesauce...it came out moist and not dry at all.

Hawaiian-Style Burgers

I liked this recipe but I did change it a little. For the actual burgers I added an egg and bread crumbs so that it would be moist and stay together. And instead of Swiss cheese I used cheddar cheese and added tomato to the sandwich. Also instead of ketchup I put a little bit of bbq sauce. Overall a good start up recipe. Oh and I made them on my George foreman grill. Turned out great!!!
