Slow-Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2013
Awesome! I lost my recipe, and this almost exact! I, however, add a few stalks celery (including the leaves chopped finely), triple the carrots, 2 cloves garlic, 1 whole head of cabbage -quartered, and I save the beer to drink LOL. It's SO good! (The meal & the beer!:) PS...I still can't remember if you're supposed to add the 'juice' from the raw CB packge - that's one of the main reasons I searched the recipe...I added a little. Also, I/we like the cabbage more well done so I cook on high for an hour, then add the cabbage on top for the duration. If it looks done, I just take it out & put in bowl.

Pumpkin Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2012
DELICIOUS! the best texture muffins i've ever made! i used the whole can of pumpkin, and i subbed cloves, nutmeg, & cinnamon coz i didn't have pumpkin pie spice. for the topping i added 2 Tbs.flour and 1 pkg.instant oatmeal coz i had no nuts in the house (besides myself LOL j/k). when they were cooled, i srinkled powdered sugar on top. now here's what NOT TO DO: i had a container of greek yogurt-blueberry fruit on the bottom, so i scooped off the top carefully and added that instead of the sour cream which i didn't have. well, they taste like blueberry muffins. who knew? HOWEVER, next time i make blueberry muffins, i'm definitely gonna add one greek blueberry yougurt (fruit and all) to the mix. (btw: the mix made 12 muffins, baked for 35 min's)

Stuffed Cabbage

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2012
i lost my recipe for stuffed cabbage (it's here somewhere packed in moving boxes:) This is very close to mine as i remember, but i use tomato sauce and brown sugar (i think 2 Tbs), garlic, onion pwd,s&p. this is SO delicious, THANK YOU for posting!! ps...i also bake mine, which is easier for me. oh, and someone commented the inner leaves weren't cooked enough....just parboil the cabbage as stated, take it out of pot and remove the soft leaves, put the remaining back into the hot water while you're stuffing the larger leaves.

Restaurant Style Egg Drop Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2011
omgawd! that was AWESOME! so easy and delish! i made it w/ veg. bullion cubes, and dried onion bits...i was out of everything...lol. i added leftover rice which had a bit of chinese 5 spice in it from last nights dinner. YUM! however, i think my stock was boiling TOO MUCH, so next time i'll turn down so it's not a 'rolling boil' and the eggs will be a little bit larger. PERFECT!! thank you!

Deviled Eggs I

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2009
this recipe is so good! just about the way i make mine. i use prepared mustard, and a little more mayo, and i find if i mash the eggs while they're still warm-ish, they come out much smoother. 1/2 of my family likes sweet relish, the other hates it...lol. so, i make both. on the ones without relish, i put slices of black olives. on the ones with, i put sliced green olives (w/ pimentos) on top. it looks fancy and tastes really good! i always put a bowl of both olives on the side. thanks for posting this!
