Italian Spinach Sausage Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2010
Delicious and easy to assemble! I took other reviewers advice and cut the ingredients in half and it perfectly filled one deep dish crust. I used fresh spinach since I had some instead of frozen and only used a bottom crust.

Apple Crisp with Oat Topping

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2013
I've made a lot of apple crisps and this may have been the best one. Super easy and I like that there isn't tons of sugar mixed in with the fruit. Planning to make again for my husband's birthday!

Morning Glory Muffins I

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2012
These smelled delicious while baking and taste so yummy! Used applesauce instead of apple butter and left out the nuts, but otherwise followed the directions.

Zucchini Pineapple Bread II

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2010
Yum! I used fresh pineapple, a little bit of coconut and no nuts. I also used a bit of brown sugar in place of a part of the white sugar. The bread fell apart a little when I took it out of the pan but I think it was just too hot. It is tasty though and I will make again.

Quinoa Black Bean Burgers

Reviewed: May 3, 2012
These were good, I like the additional nutrition from the quinoa. I might just add a bit to make them more flavorful next time.

Easy Cream Cheese Danish

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2011
I thought these were good and easy. The pastry part wasn't the same as you'd get in a bakery but it was still good. I thought the cheese filling was so similar though to danishes I have bought! I took the advice of others and just cut the tube of crescents into rounds and made mini danishes.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
Yum! Added a pack of McCormicks stew seasoning as others suggester, otherwise made according to the directions. The meat was so tender!

Apple-Raisin French Toast Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2010
This was good and easy to make. Followed others advice and soaked Pepperidge Farm bread in the egg before spreading over apples. Also cut sugar down to 3/4 cup and halved the butter.

Coconut Cream Pound Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2010
This was delicious! As others suggested, I doubled the coconut extract and cut the sugar to 2.5 cups. The baking time was spot on for my bundt pan. Served with fresh strawberries and vanilla ice cream...yummy!

Spinach Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2010
This was a quick and tasty meal that used items I commonly have on hand. I used some of the suggestions from others, added garlic, mushrooms, used a mix and frozen spinach (which is what I had) and add a dollop of sour cream. I also added some breadcrumbs to the chicken coating, but did think a lot of the coating fell off...maybe cooking it quickly in a frying pan first would help as others said. No onions or pimiento used here, and I thought it was fine!

Rhubarb Strawberry Crunch

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2012
I thought this was simple and delicious. I cut the recipe in half and made in an 8x8 square pan. Used 3 cups rhubarb and 1 cup strawberries since that is what I had in the garden that day. Kept the topping amounts the same and did not feel like it was too much at all. Just cut the sugar down a bit in the fruit. Yum!

Grilled Portobello and Mozzarella

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2011
Delicious! Only change we made was to use fresh basil instead of dried and we melted the cheese on the grill instead of switching to the broiler.

Mexican Chicken Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
Delicious and easy to make. I added a little bit of frozen corn and frozen potato cubes to make the soup a bit more hearty. It had a little kick but was not overly spicy which I appreciated. I would make again for sure.

Amish Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2010
Yum! Made this as written, but with sausage instead of bacon. It was easy and delicious. I think 12 servings is too high though. We had 7 and there was probably 1 serving left (and we had another casserole and fruit/muffins too).

Sarah's Applesauce

Yummy, better than store bought for sure....and so easy! I used 6 small cortland apples. I had a bit too much water but I just dumped a bit off before I mashed. I will make again for sure.

Chicken with Quinoa and Veggies

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2012
This was yummy and an easy meal. We added eggplant to ours. I might use canned tomatoes next time or more as they were not very prevalent in my dish. I will make again, my husband and 2 year old both ate it up!

Delicious and really easy to make! I cut the recipe in half and just baked in a square pan instead. Used store bought frosting because I was lazy and it was still really good!

Pirates' Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 3, 2012
This was good but not phenomenal. Our chops were not as tender as I'd like but the sauce flavor wasn't bad. I might make again.
