Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
Everyone thought these were great. I used a cookie sheet at the same temp and just rolled into balls and flattened them a little before baking. They will be ready to come out of the oven before they appear to be, dont overbake unless you like yours crunchy!

Simple Whole Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2010
This was one of my first times roasting a whole chicken and it came out alot better than I would have thought I could do! The seasoning blend was perfect when doubled! I also put a few cloves of chopped up garlic under the skin. My house did get a little smokey but this was a very moist and delicious chicken. Thanks!

Festive Shortbread Logs

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
I lost my recipe for these so thank you so much for posting this! I like to use pecans instead of walnuts and I refrigerate the dough before baking, dont know if thats necessary or not. Everyone has always loved these!

Sweet and Sour Chicken III

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2010
This was really good with brown rice. I like how you can change up the veggies, I used a bag of stirfry veggies I had on hand. I also doubled the sauce ingredients except soy sauce but left the pineapple chunks out just adding the juice. I have always liked sour and sweet flavors together like this, so if you typically do then I think you'll like this dish.

Amazing Whole Wheat Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
We like this so much we make it 2x a week. I also use solely whole wheat flour (a little under 3 1/4 cups total) and add 1/2 tsp garlic salt and italian seasoning. I brush the crust lightly with oil before baking. It makes a good size pizza that is healthier and more economical!

Whole Wheat Biscuits

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2010
I really liked these. I did sub all whole wheat flour and milk for the buttermilk which I think made them just a bit more dry than they would have been but we still thought they were delicious. And somehow, even better the next day! Thank you!

Easy Iced Coffee

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2009
What an easier way of making iced coffee! This is great because it dissolves the sugar unlike when you get it at coffee shops! (while also paying an arm and a leg.) We do like ours a bit sweeter though, very easy to adjust to taste. Thanks for this recipe!

Pie Crust IV

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2010
My rating is based on ease to work with and the aesthetic aspect of the finished product as I didnt taste this for dietary reasons. But this was soo easy and beautiful, I was just shocked. Seems well worth just a couple extra minutes in the kitchen compared to a premade crust! Thanks!

Red Enchilada Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2010
I needed a gluten free enchilada sauce and found this recipe, I am so glad I did! I didnt even think of making my own. I only had basil pasta sauce but this still worked great with that! I just omitted the basil called for. I did add an extra tsp of chili powder and used half the amount of water for a richer sauce. Thanks so much!

Blueberry Crumb Bars

I loved how these were sweet yet had that fresh berry tang to them. They were really good, better than blueberry pie and bluebberry muffins! Thanks!
