Sausage Mushroom Quiche

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2002
I made this for my book club and everyone loved it! The only suggestion I have is that I used Jimmy Dean "Hot" sausage to give it a little more "zip"

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2002
I made this for my husband and my in-laws and everyone loved it. My husband thought it was a little rich, but other than that gave it the thumbs up. The few changes that I made were...I used less than half the heavy cream called for and added a bit of cornstarch to thicken the sauce. I also used Creole seasoning instead of cajun (is there really a difference?)and last but not least I used garlic salt instead of lemon pepper. Hope this helps:)

Hot Jezebel

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2003
I served this at an open house during the holidays and loved it. It was so simple to make and I served it with crackers and sausage balls. I did need to do a little coaxing to get my guests to try the dip that is why I gave it 4 stars.

Fluff Dip for Fruit

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2003
This is GOOD stuff. I agree with the reviewer that suggested that half the recipe would be plenty. I had enough fluff to feed an army!

Classic Baked Mostaccioli

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2003
My husband and I really enjoyed this recipe. Not only was it YUMMY, it was soooo easy! Thanks to fellow reviews suggestions I made the following changes: used turkey instead of beef and while browning the meat added italian seasoning, garlic salt and a crushed galic clove. I also used penne pasta andparmesan cheese because that is what I had on hand:)

Bella's Rosemary Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2003
We thought these potatoes were GREAT and so easy to make. I cut my potatoes in smaller pieces and I think that helped with the cook time, but like other reviewers agree that they do require more time in the oven than the recipe calls for.

I am sorry to say that we really did not care for the waffles. I made them to go along with spicey fried chicken and was very disappointed.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2003
I took the advise of past reviewers and roasted my garlic(I used the whole bulb!) before adding it to the potatoes and used the hand mixer rather than the blender. I thought the potatoes were really good, but could have been a bit creamier:)

I really liked this recipe and would make it again, but I would agree that it falls apart:) My husband also really liked the meatloaf, but asked me to leave the "topping" off next time.

Strawberry Pie II

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2004
This recipe is so good and so easy I can't believe it!!! I have never made any type of pie before, but I can honestly say this will become a staple at our house. I agree with the other reviewers that you need to use 4 tbsp of cornstarch and you need stir for the full 10 minutes. I followed their directions and my pie turn out PERFECT!

Banana Pudding Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2004
I loved this recipe and so did my husband. I did not make the glaze, becuase I thought it was great w/out it...and I saved the calories! The only other changes were...I could not find banana pudding so I used vanilla and I used 4 bananas which I am guessing is more than what is called for, but it turned out great!!! I can't believe moist this cake is.
