Soft-N-Fluffy hamburger buns

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2013
Love these buns - perfect for hamburgers! I added some dough conditioner. I did notice that these rose into very tall round balls......so if you want the traditional hamburger bun shape, make sure you shape them into a round disc type shape before they rise the second time.

This dip is SOOO good, mmmmmmmmm I like eating it by itself, no fruit needed!! :) I live in NZ and not many people have ever tried this, they thought it was weird at first, but then loved it!

Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2010
This is just what I needed, with only a little time to prepare & no waiting for the dough to rise!! The bottom was a bit flimsy even after I pre-cooked the base before putting on the toppings. I always have this problem though, maybe I need to cook it longer. Thanks for the great, easy recipe!!

Excellent Apple Pudding, and very easy to put together! I added vanilla essence because I love the stuff, but I followed the recipe besides that and it was great. Thanks Laurie Nanni!!!

Elizabeth's Extreme Chocolate Lover's Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2010
This was a fabulous cake! I would call it a 'mud cake'. Very dense rich and amazing!!!!! yum, I got rave reviews about this. I made it chocolate/orange flavored for my husbands birthday party. I didn't have any unsweetened chocolate so I had to use the substitute recommended on AR (cocoa and oil). It turned out great, but I would love to try it with the actual chocolate. Oh, and I used mostly natural yogurt instead of sour cream. Beautiful, thanks so much ElizabethBH!!

Chicken Piccata II

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2010
I thought this was fantastic! I did only use 2 chicken breasts (split in half length-wise), so the flavor was a tad overwhelming, but at the same time it was a beautiful flavor!!! The hubby wasn't too fond of this but I loved it so i'm giving it 5 stars:) Oh, I used 2 large cubes of chicken stock instead of the bouillon powder. thanks for the great recipe Terry!!

Colored Sugar

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2010
Fantastic!! Anyone know how to get the moisture out of it though?? I put a lot of food coloring in and it made a nice dark pink color. Make sure you start shaking asap or you'll get lil blobs of dark pieces (guess you could sift them out anyway). I don't think i'll ever buy colored sugar ever again - thanks so much for this amazing idea!!!!!!!!

Spicy Garlic Lime Chicken

Reviewed: May 30, 2010
This Chicken was excellent! The garlic powder and lime juice kick was amazing!!! I wasn't fond of the thyme though, so I probably won't add it next time. And I didn't have parsley or onion powder. I used some basil and oregano instead.

Coconut Raspberry Bars

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2011
Sooooo delicious! Great texture, sort of in between a hard bar and a cake. Nice and soft, but not too soft;) And amazing flavor too! I used plum jam because I didn't have raspberry, it was so good. I may cut down on the sugar next time. Thanks so much Amanda for the beautiful recipe!! :D

Caramel Shortbread Squares

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2010
This recipe is FANTASTIC!! I used golden syrup in place of the corn syrup as I didn't have any. When I was boiling the caramel it burnt really bad on the bottom (this could've been due to having a gas stove), so I will watch it more closely next time and put it on a lower heat. But I do have to say the slightly burnt taste was actually really good!! I might try putting a dab of the condensed milk mixed in with the chocolate so its not so hard on the top of the squares next time. Also.....the squares in the photo must've been a double batch of the caramel and chocolate or something because My layers were very small and I used a 9x9 pan. Next time I might try to double just the caramel part (makes sense too because 1/2 a cup is about half a can of condensed milk, so you might as well use the whole can!). Thanks for a great recipe!!! Just an update on these because i've made them a couple of times now........the caramel actually tastes A LOT better if you slighty burn it. Also, you need to keep them in the fridge otherwise they will start to go off within a couple of days. :)
