Firstly, these cookies did taste nice and they turned out soft. BUT they have way too much butter in them (and I am a butter LOVER), they fell apart and were too thin. I have a lot of experience baking cookies so I took all of the usual "precautions" and still couldn't get them to work. I left the dough in the fridge overnight to harden, and they still came out flat. I then rolled them all into balls and put them in the freezer. Still, after I froze them they still came out flat & it was really hard to get the design on the top to come out looking pretty. These are definitely NOT "Classic" peanut butter cookies. If I was to make these again, I would probably cut the butter in half and possibly add more PB/Flour. ALSO: they made approx 50 cookies, not the 24 as stated & I made regular size cookies.
