I followed this recipe exactly and it came out terrible! It had a weird flavor that none of us could pinpoint. It didn't even smell good while it was baking....big disappointment!

definitely sear the roast first - it adds to the flavor. also added worcestershire, but otherwise followed this recipe exactly. i've made it 3 times & everyone loves it.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Thie is a keeper. It is not your typical recipe. I just pour the brown sugar & ketchup on the top. I also add 1t. of worcestershire o the meat to balance the sweetness. I substitute 1 pkt of onion soup mix for the fresh onion & I use bread crumbs instead of crackers. It is very easy & delicious.
