super tasty salad and a huge hit during Christmas dinner. When cooking the walnuts, I used double the sugar and2 tblsp butter and they were sooooo delsih!!

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

This recipe has replaced my usual recipe for cheesy potatoes. I ditched the onions and simply used onion powder. I also use american cheese in addition to what is called in this recipe.

Spanish Rice Bake

quick easy and delicious. let simmer only, do not stir! added some garlic and sauteed it with the onions and bell pepper sbefore adding to mixture. I skipped the baking part and just sprinkled cheese during last couple minutes of cooking time. served with tortillas and sour cream.

Veronica's Hot Spinach, Artichoke and Chile Dip

amzing, amzinag, amazing!! Loved this dip! A spicy twist to the traditional dip! I added some Parmesan cheese and garlic to the mix and served with sourdough french bread and tortilla chips on NYE and it was a huge hit!

an amazing recipe! I mixed the bacon in to the soup for extra flavor, and I added some sour cream. very hearty and filling. perfect comfort food for a rainy day.

Southwestern Egg Rolls

amazing rolls! I took the suggestions of others and baked for 15 minutes at 450, turning over halfway thru. best idea ever! I served with a sour cream taco dip (sour crm, mayo & taco seasoning) and they didn't last but 10 minutes on the table. I also doubled the recipe and cut them in half.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

great soup. i took user advice and added 1 cup of chicken broth to make it more a soupy rather than chili consistency. I added 1/4 c cilantro, 3 cloves garlic, and 6 corn tortillas cut in strips. I cooked on high for 5 hours. NExt time I will only use 1 can of beans, not 2.

I cut the sugar in half- other than that it's great! i make this lal the time now! I double the recipe and use a bottle of zinfandel and a bottle of shiraz. turns out perfect every time!

Lime Fish Tacos

This is now our regular fish taco recipe. the sour cream mayo sauce is delish!! I added diced onions sauteed with garlic to the fish, and I used some old bay seasoning as well. I used red cabbage instead of lettuce, and corn tortillas instead of flour. my husband devoured 4 tacos!

Tastes like the stuff you get in Greece- even with the soy sauce! I used a lot more lemon garlic and oregano though. I also used pork shoulder instead of tenderloin- not as dry and has more flavor. Best when served with white rice and cucumber sauce.

Moist Sour Cream Coffee Cake

AMAZING! i had all the ingredients on hand one Saturday morning and whipped this up. absolutely delicious! I drizzled a powdered sugar glaze on top. this was great by itself or with coffee.
