Jalapeno Pepper Jelly

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2012
This recipe is better with fresh Jalapeno's cut up and this is why Katieklg your jelly didn't set. Too much juice from the canned Jalapenos.

Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2012
I did the recipe and then I used a warmed sour cherry chutney I make toplace over top after slicing. Added sweet potato double baked, string beans with slivered almonds and it was a wonderful supper.

You can sub using the oil for applesauce in any recipe It makes it better for you than all that oil or even 1/2 oil and 1/2 applesauce.

Easy Key Lime Pie I

Reviewed: May 18, 2011
Well this pie was good but I used the 5 egg yokes, 2 cans of condensed milk and 1 cup key lime juice. A really good topping is to make a meringue by beating the 5 egg whites, 1/2 tsp cream of tarter, 4 1/2 tsp sugar, and 1 tsp vanilla to stiff peaks pile it on the baked pie and bake in oven until the peaks brown.

Stuffed Green Peppers I

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2010
OH my goodness. Everyone should ALWAYS cook rice before adding it to beef stuffings! Cabbage rolls, cook the rice first, stuffed peppers, cook the rice first. Always look at your ingredients first. If there is a ingredient that takes longer to cook than the main ing. cook it first, cool it before adding it to the main ing. so you dont start the cooking process before you pop it in the oven. Slow Cooker Sweet and Tangy Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2010
very good but I drained the pineapple and kept the pineapple in the fridge and chopped the peppers and kept them in the fridge until 1 hr. before the chicken was done. Then added it. It just maintains the pineapple and peppers from getting too mushy.

Chicken Cordon Bleu Bites

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2010
It was good but if you make them with fine chopped onion and a little shake of tobasco and then roll them in some shake & bake you can put them right in the oven and you don't have to fry them. I used that ranch shake & bake. Ranch dip is good with them too.

Breakfast Sausage

Adding pork to deer or moose meat makes a beautiful moist sausage. Also, fresh ground garlic and honey mixed in is good too. This was a fun, quick tasty recipe.

Pumpkin Custard with a Kick

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2010
Great, I added homemade applesauce instead of o.j. as I didn't have any and just used whole eggs. It came out a little denser. Also if you live in a cold climate like me I just turn my oven off and open the door somewhat to release the heat into the air and leave the custard in the oven to cool, Then you dont scald yourself with the hot water of pan. Never waste that precious heat from your oven by closing the door in the winter time. YOu would be surprised if you use your oven like me alot just how much energy you can save.
