Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

Reviewed: May 22, 2011
I usually prepare a recipe the first time exactly how it is written and then make changes the next time I prepare it...but NOT this time. This is a keeper in my book and is tucked safely away in my notebook! The entire family loved it including the 1 year old!

Peanut Butter and Pumpkin Dog Treats

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2010
So easy to prepare! I didn't have any difficulty mixing and didn't need to add water. I mixed all ingredients minus 1/2 cup flour. I then turned it onto my countertop and kneaded in the remaining flour. I cut into squares with my pizza cutter. Fantastic recipe!

Marty's Loosemeat Sandwich

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
I love it and so does my family! I am from the Quad Cities and they are known for their Maid Rite sandwiches. It is almost impossible to duplicate because there is a secret ingredient. This recipe replaces all of my other attempts at mastering the local favorite. I wouldn't make any changes. Yummy!

Chocolate Chip Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2008
Leftovers? ...what leftovers? I have made these twice already in just one week. I can't keep my hubby out of them. I also didn't have buttermilk on hand and prepared my own with milk and lemon juice. I also experimented and used peanut butter chips the second time around for variety and they are just as delicious. I also prepared a few in my mini muffin tins and baked until a cake tester inserted came out clean. Thank you for the recipe...this goes in my book with all of the other keepers.

Francisco's Blender Salsa

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2008
I have been searching for a salsa recipe that is easy to prepare and is the consistency of those served in my favorite restaurants. This is it!! Mine too thickened overnight but I just added some V-8 juice to it. This one is a keeper. Thanks for the recipe!

Iowa Maid-Rites

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2008
Although it is a good maid rite recipe, it doesn't come close to the Maid Rites served here in my area. I am located in the Quad City area...famous for Maid Rites. Substitute the onion soup mix and french onion soup for chicken broth and add minced onion.

Corn Dog Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2008
Yummy...quick and easy and inexpensive to make. I cut my hot dogs into slices like the other reviewers suggested. I also used cheesy hot dogs because that is what I had available. I wish I would have had this recipe years ago when my boys were young...they still gobbled up their favorite treat when I made these the other day! Thanks for the recipe!

Easy Swedish Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2008
Fantastic! I recall the days my Grandma would whip up her "Finnish" pancakes as we would call them. The recipe never left in print because she could whip them up by memory. Thank you for sharing thsi delightful recipe!

Kraut Balls

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
My husband loved them...I liked them. I reduced the amount of sauerkraut and cream cheese. There was way too much moisture to roll them into balls. Next time I make them for my husband, I will reduce the cream cheese even more to just 1/2 pkg. And will chop up the sauerkraut.

Cappuccino Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2007
These are very moist and delicious! I made them in hopes of having them for Christmas Eve...I don't think they will last that long. I didn't put the struesel on top only because I din't want to mess with it...they have so much going on inside that it really didn't need it. Great recipe and definitely going in my "keeper" file!

Cheesy Salmon Pasta

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2007
I am always searching for a new salmon recipe for my husband. I asked him how he liked this one and he said "good"....but I think after watching him refill his plate three times, it's better than good! I used vidalia onions and left out the green onions, only because I forgot to pick them up at the store. I also used whole wheat pasta, and salmon fillets in place of the canned salmon and Smart Balance Omega oil. Another keeper for my recipe box!

Blueberry Pumpkin Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2007
Wow! I hestitated at first because of the unusual combination...but after eating the first muffin and trying not to take a second, I quickly added this recipe to my keeper folder. I didn't have any eggs and substituted with 1T. flax seed and 3T. water. They came out beautifully. I like mine a bit spicier so may add a bit of pumpkin pie spice and will switch the sugar for Splenda next time. Other than that this recipe is perfect as is! Now I need to hide them until dinnertime!!

Garlic and Onion Burgers

I prepared these for the first time last night and everyone at the table raved on how good they were. This will be the recipe of choice for me. I have saved this in my favorites list!

Chicken Salsa Pizza

Quick and easy, the family loved it. I used my own homemade salsa and I also used a Mexican blend of shredded cheese. Serving again for dinner tonight!
