Original is 3stars : LOVE the concept, but we thought the recipe needs a little work. The pie itself is pretty dry and the crust cooks too long. Next time I will definitely add a small amt of beef gravy plus a veggie like peas. Also I will pre-cook the filling and just bake in the oven long enough to cook the pie crust.
5star update : Made this again with changes and it was delicious! As stated above, precook the filling. Shortly before filling is tender, mix in a can of peas (or frozen) and about 2c beef gravy (use a mix or make a quick gravy w beef broth). Fill per recipe and bake just until crust is golden and tender. Yum!
