Five Minute Ice Cream

Oh my goodness so fast and delicious I am eating some right now my daughter left me some frozen strawberries I love strawberry ice cream it would make just enough in the evenings reminds me of a frosty type thing? I will keep making this one now I need frozen fruit I also enjoy cause I was able to eat it right away perfect consistancy for me this is wonderful can't wait to make this for my parents the possibilities are endless thank you so much Tammy

Scalloped Potatoes and Pork Chops

I made this today I sliced my potatoes very thin and onion as well I had to cook mine longer it seemed an extra 30 min it looked kinda wierd like not scalloped potatoes they were soft evnough tho it may taste a little bland I"m not sure hopefully my parents will eat it lol

Peach Pie

Hello I just made this pie this morning with fresh farm peaches I had and I am certainly glad I did it was very easy to follow for me I used store bought crust tho I followed the directions by letting it set in the oven while off for about an hr I tried to wait as long as I could before cutting a slice there was juices but it was still rather warm I just couldn't help myself in waiting any longer lol I will definitely make this again I actually prefer some juices in the bottom of my pie plate oh I forgot I did one change I brushed the top then with melted butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar I'm sure by this evening it will have set up more and be just as delicious as it is now thank you I will make this over and over while peaches are in full season Tammy

Chicken Fried Chicken

Hello I've made this chicken recipe twice now since finding it my mom and daughter just love it so much they want me to make it again this weekend. It so simple and easy I just deep fry mine till golden brown then bake it off in the oven to make sure its done I served it with sweet restaurant slaw from this site and corn it was delicious then last night I had a chicken sandwich tasted just like restaurants sandwiches I used bread miracle whip my fried chicken and lettuce wow it was amazingly delicious I am so happy with this recipe thank you for sharing it this will definitely be a keeper think I'll have it this weekend with mashed potatoes salad and homemade apple pie from this site ohh I'm hungry allready LOL I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Drop Biscuits and Gravy

Wow I just made these for breakfast this morning and they are fantastic I didn't have the sausage for the gravy but made plain white gravy and it was so good this recipe is a keeper for me I've been trying differnt biscuits recipes so far this one is the best with gravy and hot coffee what a way to start your day absolutely delicious thank you. Mom's Baking Powder Biscuits

Well now I have made these biscuits twice this week thinking the first time I did something wrong. They absolutely wouldnt rise at all both times they were like hockey pucks and not very fluffy I made them exactly to the recipe maybe its the weather here in Ohio I don't know but I will keep trying to find a light and fluffy airy biscuit I like these are like hockey pucks LOL

Classic Macaroni Salad

WOW omg I just made this now and it is absolutely wonderful I never made home made macaroni salad before and thought I'd try my own instead of buying so I could limit my salt as I do low sodium but I made it to a T and added just a little relish and wow this is amazingly delicious I'm having it tomorrow so I know the flavors will sit overnight in the fridge better then I"ll add the boiled eggs on top and maybe some paprika like my uncle does but thank you ever so much I will make this from now on as I just love macaroni salad I think I"ll serve it with pulled pork tomorrow thank you again ever so much now if only I can stay out of it till tomorrow LOL...

Mom's Country Gravy

Good morning its a very cold saturday here only 8 degrees I wanted something warm for breakfast and made biscuits I came across this recipe for gravy and it is absolutely wonderful would be perfect with sausage ham or bacon I'll try that next time I never made home made gravy before its better than at diners I now can make my own from scratch guess I never thought of it lol it is so warm with hot coffee wow I will never buy packets again either I'd love to try it with country fried steak soon omg this is such good gravy thank you thank you.

French Toast Casserole

Well I made this today and I don't know it puffed up real high and smelled wonderful but when I took it out of the oven it flopped into a flat mess and stuck to the bottom of the pan I think I"ll go back to my normal way of making french toast maybe I did something wrong I don't know.

Sunday's Apple Pie

I made this pie today its a cold fall autumn day so I thought I'd try this pie I just took it out of the oven my house smells wonderful I can't wait to try it I added a little vanilla and nutmeg like other views suggested and after baking I brushed melted butter on top and added cinnamon sugar wow I can't wait to try it.. Thanks again hopefully it turned out good. OMG this pie is the Bomb!!! I waited as long as I could the pie sat up beautifully the crust was buttery and flaky with the cinnamon topping I had two pieces allready absolutely irrasistable pie I will definitely be making this one again real soon I used the Flaky pie crust in the Food processor and made sure my ingrediants were very cold the crust just melts in your mouth perfect ammount of cinnamon/sugar for the filling absolutely amazing I can't believe I made it :)) Tammy

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Good morning I have been wanting to make these for quite sometime now its a perfect fall autumn day so I tried them and I am so happy they turned out perfectly. I didn't change a thing my dough was perfect I made little balls and barely rolled them in sugar just a tiny bit then pressed gently with a glass and baked them for 10min they are absolutely delicious I hope I can stay out of them long enough to make the frosting I'll just use a glaze thanks again this one will be used a lot during the holiday season. Country Apple Dumplings

All I can say is OMG these are insanely delicious. I only used 1 apple lol as it was all I had but after reading this recipe for wks I had to try them. Actually 1 apple was fine for me and my daughter in a little baking dish. I used 1/2 cup white sugar and 1/4 cup brown sugar and I used Ginger Ale as I didn't have any Mt Dew. They smelt wonderful in the oven they puffed up so nice with all that cinnamon sugar goo on top and juicy apple pieces inside the pastry. Wow I ate allmost the whole dish myself. I sent my daughter over for vanilla icecream they were absolutely delicious served warm what a wonderful new fall treat heck any time of treat for me now thank you to whoever posted this easy and wonderful recipe I don't like complicated recipes with lots of ingrediants this one is perfect for that apple pie craving and don't forget the ice cream and a drizzle of the brown sugar carmel on top omg amazing...
