Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Italian Pasta Salad I

I loved this pasta salad! I have never tried a pasta salad I really liked before, ever, until I tried this one. This is definitely a keeper. I will FOR SURE make this again! The only change I made was to use half an onion instead of a whole one. Also, as a note, Parmesan cheese is listed in the ingredients, but then never listed in the instructions. Easy enough to figure out when to add it, but just thought I'd mention it.

Better Than Best Fried Chicken

Deb's Scallops Florentine

This recipe was quite good. I followed the directions to a T, and the only problem I had was that the amount of Old Bay was positively overpowering. I'll either use just a sprinkling, or omit it altogether next time. Other than that, it was absolutely delicious.

Quiche Lorraine II

This was very tasty, and I didn't have a problem with it being too liquidy. However, I did make the huge blunder of picking up a graham cracker crust at the store to bake it in -- D'OH! Laziness did me in; I should have just made one myself. We had to eat the quiche scraped out of the sweet crust. Of course, that's not the recipe writer's fault, only my own. I should have been paying more attention. Hopefully someone here can learn from my mistake! Oh yes, I also substituted regular onions out for scallions instead, and this worked very well.

Deviled Eggs I

Very tasty, very basic deviled egg recipe. Nothing spectacular, but nothing bad about it. Awesome for a beginner! Next time, I will jazz it up some.

It was extremely delicious, and also easy to make. However, the soupy texture really got to me, so I'm not sure if I'll make it again. To be fair, my fiance loved it so much that he wanted it for two meals in a row! Also, this makes much more than 2 servings! I would say at least 6. So be forewarned.

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

I LOVE THIS!!! I made a few very minor changes: 1) added a bit of dried mustard powder, 2) added a bit of whole milk, 3) cut the bread crumbs by half. This is DIVINE! I love this texture of macaroni and cheese. If you are looking for the smooth, creamy kind, this is NOT the recipe you want to do, but if you're looking for the kind to evoke memories of a down home potluck, you can't get much better than this recipe. Will DEFINITELY make this again.

Best Ever Crab Cakes

These were WONDERFUL! I used a bit less mayo and cracker crumbs than the recipe called for, and I do not think they could have been improved upon any further. I used lump blue crab meat and thought it was perfect for this. I will definitely make these again.

Broccoli Cheese Soup III

The flavor was OK, but just missing something.. I added about 1/4 tsp of ground mustard and another cup of cheese, which did help, but it still wasn't great. The soup was very, very liquid as well. It was fine for this one time, but I probably won't be making this again.

Chicken Caesar Pitas

This was great, and not difficult at all to make (well, I had two sets of hands in the kitchen). To all the people that didn't make the croutons -- you're missing out! They added just a bit of crunch, without being as hard as store-bought croutons, and really improved the overall texture. I wasn't originally impressed by the idea of boiling chicken, but it worked out very well. Will definitely make again!

I found this very tasty and very easy to make. Definitely not for breakfast though! I made that mistake, and it was simply just too sweet. This would be incredibly for dessert.

Karyn's Cream of Crab Soup

Wonderful! Sublime! As good as the cream of crab soup at any restaurant! The only change I made was to halve the Old Bay and use 1.3 lbs of crab meat instead of 1 lb. Turned out incredible!

Grilled Rock Lobster Tails

I used Atlantic lobster instead of rock lobster, and these came out great. If, for whatever reason, I have lobster laying around, I'll prepare it this way again, but with the price of lobster being what it is, that may not be any time soon. Edit: Also, I forgot to add, we grilled these on a George Foreman grill, and it only took about 5 minutes, total. The flavor was not compromised at all.

Crawfish Chowder

This was phenomenal! I made it with double cream cheese and reduced the amount of green onions a bit. I could not have improved on it in any way! Served with hot asiago cheese bread, this dish was total perfection.
