Mom's Pie Crust
Great pie crust! First time making pie dough, since I never have any shortening on hand. I love how easy it was! Threw everything in a food processor, and like other reviews mentioned, I had to add an extra tablespoon of water to the mix. End result was flaky and delicious! I used this crust for the bottom crust of my mini apple pies, and used Pillsbury pie crust for the top- definitely a noticeable difference between the two. I will never use pre-made pie crusts ever again!

It's Chili by George!!
Good hearty chili. I've made this a few times now- First time when I followed the recipe, it was kind of bland. Its got the thickness & consistency, but it definitely needed an extra kick. It's 'taste as you go' with the spices, so I ended up increasing the cumin, chili powder, etc until it reached the taste (and heat) I was looking for. I also decreased the beans by a can (personal preference) as I thought two cans was too much. Great recipe, nonetheless.

Cracked Sugar Cookies I
I was looking forward to making these as my husband loves sugar cookies, but these are just way too sweet! Not to mention the butter was too overwhelming so the combination was just like baked sugar butter.
