Authentic Chicken Tikka Masala

Made just as described minus one of the peppers (so it wouldn't be too spicy for me). And it was good, flavorful, went well over the jasmine rice. Great after a cold winter's day, my boyfriend really liked it as well. I only gave it 4 stars because I didn't think it was quite as good as the same dish from the local Indian restaurant in town, but then those folks have been making this food forever and they are the BEST! And this was only my first time making Indian Cuisine, so 4 stars is pretty good. I would advise you to give it a shot, it's really good!

Just Like Fresh Corn

How clever and simple! Prepared exactly as the recipe states and it was perfect. I froze the corn afterwards, reheated when convenient, and it still tasted like fresh picked corn. Thanks for sharing this, Denise!

Slow Cooker Homemade Beans

Superb recipe, but like other reviewers have mentioned, my beans (fresh, presoaked overnight) turned out crunchy the first time I made it. The second time, I presoaked overnight and boiled the beans first, also added the salt and ketchup towards the end of the cooking time, and they turned out perfect! This worked out great for freezer cooking as well, I made a double batch, cooled, stored half in one large ziplock and the rest in smaller portions. When it was time for the family get-together, all I had to do was thaw, pour into serving dish, and reheat. Next time, I am going to try a little less sugar (personal preference), but this is by far the best baked beans I have ever had. Thanks for sharing this!

Guacamole

Perfect with no alterations necessary! I prepared it exactly the way the recipe was written the first time, it was so good and fresh I actually ate this by itself! The second time I made it, I was pressed for time, so I substituted a fresh "salsa" from the grocery store (the kind that is basically just tomatoes, onions, cilantro chopped up already- not the "saucy" kind, and that worked well too. Thanks for sharing this!
