Raspberry Almond Coffeecake

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2009
This was a great recipe. I used other suggestions and used almond extract instead of vanilla, made 1 1/2 X the amount of batter. My batter was pretty thick and wouldn't pour so it turned out more like an apple betty texture but it was great. I made mine in a springform pan and it made an excellent presentation. Will try again with other berries and use a cream cheese/powdered sugar glaze on it. Yummy.

Authentic Thousand Island Dressing

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2009
This was an excellent recipe. I used all ingredients except cloves and added a bit of horseradish sauce to tang it up. I agree with some of the other reviews that it gets better when you let it set for a couple of hours. Used this over a Mahi tuna salad. Scrumptous.

Baked Pesto Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2008
I found this recipe very easy and pretty darn good but using the leftovers was the best. For lunch the next day I sliced the chicken and reheated for sandwiches on a crusty roll adding a bit more pesto and cheese. They were exellent. I also used large breasts and pounded them flat.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2007
These cookies are awesome. The only thing I added were chopped walnuts. You may want to double or triple the recipe because 18-20 cookies will not be enough. Great recipe. Thanks.

Farm Macaroons

Reviewed: May 31, 2006
These cookies are absolutely delightful and very easy to make. I took the recommendations of others and used only 1 cup of sugar, refrigerated the dough for approximately 2 hours and used parchment paper while baking. I don't know if I made them too large, though because I only got 28 out of the batch rather than the 48 the recipes said you would get. Just means I'll have to bake up another batch tomorrow cause I know these won't last until tonight. Thanks for a keeper.

Kung Pao Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2006
Very good recipe. My only changes were to use rice wine vinegar instead of distilled and to use a little corn starch to thicken the sauce. I also omitted the water chestnuts and added more green onion. Will make again. Thanks for the great recipe.

Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2004
This is a great dipping sauce for homemade chicken fingers. Seems to be much healthier than others that include mayonaise. I did use one reviewers suggestion and added a bit more cornstarch to get a thicker consistency. Will use this recipe again.

Banana Oat Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2004
This recipe is great!! The only thing I changed was instead of using 1 cup of all purpose flour I used 1/2 cup of whole wheat and 1/2 cup of almond flour. (Almond flour is simply almonds pulverized in your prossessor.) The topping adds a nice crown to the muffin and as the recipe calls, be generous with the topping. I did note from another review that the butter in the topping caused the paper cups to be greasy so when I took them out of the oven I immediately set them on paper towels to absorb the butter. My husband and mother-in-law just loved these. Thanks, Kimberly, for a keeper.

Crispy Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2003
Pretty darn good fried chicken! I took the skin off my chicken and the coating was a little harder to adhere but all in all this was great chicken. I hadn't made fried chicken in years because my husband prefers baked due to the grease but at his suggestion I did make fried. And, yes, this chicken is just as crispy the next day even after being refrigerated. I had even had some for breakfast this morning. Except for the mess on the stove............try it..............you'll like it!

Gourmet Chicken Sandwich

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2003
Absolutely FABULOUS!!!!! I did take another persons suggestion and doubled the dressing and added lettuce to the sandwich. We had this sandwich for dinner two nights in a row at my picky husband's request. I was fortunate to have been at the bakery just as the focaccia was coming out of the oven. Thanks, Lisa, for a recipe that will be used over and over again in this household.

Almond Lemon Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2002
This recipe was great! My husband even said this could be served in a five star restaurant. I even ate the leftovers for breakfast this morning. It makes a lovely presentation. We have three lemon trees so you can be sure this dish will be served often. Thanks for a great recipe.

Mexican Chicken Kiev

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2002
After making jalapeno poppers today I still had some of the cream cheese/chedder cheese filling left over so I decided to look in All Recipes to see how I could use the leftovers. I found this recipe and it was awesome using the cream cheese/chedder cheese combination along with the green chiles. I like the fact you can prepare way ahead of dinner time and keep in the refrigerator until cooking time. This is definitely a keeper. Thanks, Erin, for a great recipe.

Nice to have a recipe for a light, fluffy pudding cake from scratch and not a box. Will definitely make again.
