I use to have these at a harvest fair growing up and remember loving them dearly. I was putting away the food processor after making latkes last night and came across my mother's pan. That prompted me to make a special breakfast for my family. Absolutely delicious! Took the advice of others and added 2 tsp. of both vanilla and cinnamon. Didn't have buttermilk on hand, but added 2 Tbs. white vinegar to just under 2 cups milk. Worked perfectly. I thought the batter was a bit bland when cooking, but adding apple sauce and powdered sugar at the end worked charms. Definitely a keeper!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Spent the night at a friend's house. We had been planning on having pancakes for breakfast. In the morning we discovered that there was no pancake mix in the house. All Recipes to the rescue! Came across this recipe which was easy enough. The batter was VERY thick and ended up adding twice the amount of milk that it called for. The pancakes cooked up nice, but they were a lot more fluffy than I like. Good recipe for when you are in a pinch for breakfast.

Garlic Deviled Eggs

Wonderful! Looking for an easy recipe for deviled eggs on Easter. Am not a fan of bacon (in addition to celery and peppers of any kind), so that cut the available recipes down. Normally I would just stick in some mayo and paprika, but mustard was requested. I came across this this recipe fitting my guidelines. It was absolutely wonderful. Will be keeping this recipe on file!

Sour Cream Broccoli Casserole

Awesome recipe!!! Added 1 chopped white onion to the liquid. Added an addition tablespoon of sour cream. Cubed the chicken. I also added 2 cups of rice to the casserole to make it more complete. Finally, I only used 1/4 cup of bread crumbs. This is a keeper!

Creamy Zucchini with Linguine

Awesome. Just made this tonight. I added chicken, which really made the recipe. I used skim milk and the recipe came out just fine. THE OIL IS NECESSARY!!!
