Bird's Custard!Wonderful Desserts, Great Salads, Roasted meats w all sorts of vegetables. Canning Pickles, tomato sauce & home grown fruit jams, Make crackers & home-made pasta occasionally. Ecperiment w my Dehydrator & Bake home-ground-grain -bread.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Trifle on special occasions, 3 Bowl Rum cake,Jam Tarts, Mincemeat pies, Onion Sauce w Roast Beef, Yorkshire Pudding shortbread & fresh fruit pies. We've added various fresh-ground-grain-bread to that list. Girls are mastering chocolate chip cookies at the moment.

My cooking tragedies
I once tried to create lemon sorbet in hollowed out frozen lemons. I used little sugar & froze them. I don't know if I was winging it but they were ice-solid & useless, I didn't serve them. My great expectations were dashed to a crashing halt!
