Meatball Nirvana

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2011
AH-mazing. First time making meatballs and I am glad I used this recipe! I used turkey instead of beef and I upped the herbs (I like using a lot of spice), used dehydrated onion, and added more spice (I like heat too!). I also had no bread crumbs so I crushed up some crackers and croutons - worked fine. Totally great - moist and filling. I served over some penne pasta and froze the rest. Will make again!

Used some of the suggestions (See Hannah's suggestion) and it turned out great! I'm really surprised at how healthy it is too! Will definitely make again!

Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2012
I used a cheaper cut of meat because it was going to be way too much money to get enough flank steak. I wish I hadn't skimped though because the meat, while tender, just wasn't quite up to par. The recipe was good, but it didn't taste like Mongolian beef to me (but it did look like it!). I also cut the sugar, although swapping it with Orange Juice in the future might be something to try.

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

Pretty good! I used honey instead of brown sugar and added some chili paste, white pepper, and sesame seed oil. Came out with a LOT of flavor!

Really great. Used less cayenne, and also added a little horseradish. Also used fresh garlic.

Beef Pot Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2011
Good flavor and tender, but turned out drier than I would have hoped. I used a smaller cut of sirloin roast and cut 30 min from the time and it still was dry - the gravy made by the cooking helped though. Next time I would add some beef broth before putting in the oven.

Surprisingly good for mostly canned ingredients! I also added a few dashes of Tabasco and some chile powder.

Oven-Roasted Asparagus

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2012
I went with what others suggested and only roasted for 8 minutes. Then I stuck the pan under the broiler for about a minute to get the cheese nice and crispy. In the future I might not even add salt because Parm cheese is quite salty on its own. Overall, very tasty way to eat asparagus! :)

Meh. Wasn't great, wasn't bad. I was hoping this would make me excited but it didn't really.
