Ooey-Gooey Cinnamon Buns

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2012
It was alright! The dough is dry and I didn't really like how the caramel turned out. For sticky buns, I would make an easier version of this using puff pastry like ina gartens. Maybe we're just not a sticky bun type....

Apple Crisp Cups

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2012
These were really good but thought it had too much oatmeal. Halved the recipe (dozen of mini's, 6 regular size muffins, crust filled half way) and added vanilla extract. I wished I had read the reviews about using the food processor first because i had a difficult time pressing it together even when using my tart tamper. Served it with whip cream...yum!

Spicy Sausage Ragu

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2012
5 stars for being easy, simple, and good! This will be my go-to if we just want to use italian sausages instead of my usual sausage/beef mixture.

Filipino Lumpia

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2012
These were great! I used ground beef. I prefer more cabbage/carrots to my lumpias but this is good as written. I only got 20 rolls by using 2 heaping tablespoons. The best way to seal is to make flour and water mix until paste consistency. Used Mae Ploy's sweet chili sauce or a filipino vinaigrette dip. Update: I added more cabbage/carrots and had exactly 30 rolls using the same 2 heaping tablespoon.

Salami, Cream Cheese, and Pepperoncini Roll-Ups

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2012
I love the pepperoncini addition...yummy! Although, I did use the smaller salami (thats all we had), folded in half and secured it with a toothpick. Also, whip your cream cheese for an easy spread.

Chinese Lion's Head Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2012
Loved it! My daughter said this tasted like one from our favorite noodle restaurants. We used a little bit of cabbage but to compromise, we added 8oz of rice noodles. Since we were using noodles, we had to add more broth (around 8 cup total). I used a mixture of wonton soup base and regular chicken broth due to availability. Also, I'm not a fan of sesame oil, so I adjusted by using 3/4 teaspoon in the meat mixture and I think 1/2 teaspoon into the broth.

Thai Noodle Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2012
This rating is for the sauce. I liked this sauce better than another recipe i have tried here in AR. The only thing I changed is omitting the tahini. Ive never tried tahini before so I browsed the internet looking for an alternative and a few have suggested to use peanut butter and sesame oil to it. The ingredients already have pb and sesame so i thought omitting would be ok. Mind you, this is not for everyone's taste.

Hot Dog Onions

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2012
I really liked these, but not so much for my hubs. Although, it was a nice change. We like ours with some texture so I topped it with crushed chips.

These were okay. I was expecting a more savory broccoli beef.

Beer Margaritas

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2012
I thought it was very good! I used lemonade concentrate and lemon-lime soda. The lemon-lime soda made it a bit sweet but as the ice melted, it was better.

Quick and Easy Green Chile Chicken Enchilada Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2012
Very good! If I haven't seasoned my chicken, the dish would've been bland. I used the 'a good easy garlic chicken' in AR. I did have an issue with it being soupy as others mentioned but we'll see how it is the next day. My husbands only wish is to find straight sided tortillas lol.

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2012
Great flavor! Although, the sauce tasted really good, we thought it was too much. Thats basically what you are eating is cheesy sauce lasagna. Glad I cut down the ricotta, otherwise, it would've been way too thick. Used 10oz fresh spinach like others said. We also used ground mild italian sausages with leftover bacon and made our own lasagna noodles.
