I altered it a bit. Amazingly enough I couldn't find a 16 oz can of baked beans so I had to use a 28 oz can which worked wonderfully. I used a 15 oz can of drained, diced tomatoes and 4 oz of tomato paste. I also added a 6 oz can of diced green chili's. For spices I added quite a bit of chili powder, garlic salt and powder and cumin. Because I wasn't sure how the texture was going to be I also chopped up one portobello mushroom. I omitted the corn, celery, parsley, oregano and basil. I cooked on low for 6 hours and it was perfect! Ended up having two bowls for dinner! It ended up having a wonderful sweet flavor.
