I used boneless loin of pork chops. The salt in the soy sause drew all the natural moisture out of the meat- the marmalade/soy sauce topping ended up watery and the meat was so dry it was hard to swallow it.

People who like beets will like this recipe. I brought it to a Russian pot luck dinner and some people asked for the recipe and said it was great. I liked it myself! Colorful and healthy.

Loved these! I also made 12 regular sized muffins with this recipe and after the first batch, I decreased the amount of butter in the topping because it was a little too geasy. I put this recipe in my 'recipe box' online, because this will the recipe I use WHENEVER I want blueberry muffins!

My husband and I enjoyed this salad. I made it exactly to specifications and everything was great, except it was a little bland. I sprinkled some Season All over the salad and that did the trick!

This recipe was a great start, and then I incorporated other's suggestions: I used 4 cups vegetable broth with the barley; used 2 tsp. olive oil when softening the onions/garlic (added the garlic a little later that the onions), didn't drain the italin diced tomatoes; used a whole bag (9 oz.) of Redipack baby spinach, added about 1 1/2 tsp. of cajun seasoning. It was just the perfect thickness after it finished cooking/sitting. I also made it in the morning and let the flavors meld til dinner. When serving it, I put in on a large flat plate and shaved parmesan cheese over the top. Since it was a warm and sl. spicy dish, I gave each person a cup of watermelon chunks on the side to balance the flavor/texture- a sweet and crunchy side). We also had warm crusty rolls/butter with it. My husband loved it all and had two plates. A great dish that vegetarians will also appreciate!

This is a nice, easy, tasty recipe. I followed the recipe closely (including the lemon spritz at the end) and added grated romano cheese over the top before serving. My husband liked it and this is a keeper! Make sure you rinse the lentils first to avoid the possibility little stones in the soup!

I followed this receipe almost exactly, only I halved the recipe for six servings. I did use a little more olive oil (about a tablespoon total) for sauteeing the veggies. I used an 8 X11 casserole pan (2 noodles per layer and they fit well, once cooked) Everything worked out perfectly. I will definitely make this again.

The salad was too bland. It needed a little kick to balance the sweet. We won't be making it again.

I followed this recipe exactly except I cooked it on low for a longer time because we weren't ready to eat right away. After cooking it on low for about an hour,I ended up putting the whole pot in the oven on 200 for about an hour. It was like slow-cooked pork- very tender and everyone loved it. It's a keeper. Not tastey. Tried one and threw the rest away. The muffin was bland and the icing was really runny. Even after extra confection sugar was added it was still runny. Not worth making.

These are a good start, however I felt they needed somethnig- they were a little bland. I experimented and had success with two additions: On one batch I spread about a teaspoon of Harry and David's pepper relish on each peice of white bread with the cream cheese before rolling them up. It added a nice little bit of sweetness and peppery flavor, which was nice. I brought them to a party and everyone loved them at at multiple peices. Then, I also did another batch, and sprinkled a little cayenne pepper on the outside of the bacon rolls and then rolled them in a little brown sugar. Again, the added ingedients gave the roll-ups a more balance flavor. Thank you for the original recipe. I will make them again, with my suggested additions.
