Summer Pasta with Basil, Tomatoes and Cheese

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2010
Super delicious Italian style! Garlic and herb flavors compliment this recipe. I followed the directions with the exception of sherry cooking wine instead or cream, and we used more garlic. This recipes does take a longer prep time because of the dicing and marinating the tomato mix. It is more expensive than I normally would spend on a dinner for 2, but totally worth it. Needs a good bread to compliment the pasta. Recipe exceeded our expectations, and can't wait to make again!

Excellent recipe! Beef was so tender and tasty. Sauce was perfect, as is. We used Swiss cheese, and french dip rolls. This recipe is so easy and we already used it a few times, yum!

Very appetizing! We used 2 lbs ground turkey, 2 cups organic bread crumbs, 2 eggs, & salt/pepper. Baked in a brownie pan, for 60 minutes, thin slices were flavorsome. Cooked on Christmas Eve 2010.

Savory Herb Rice

Full flavored rice! We used 2/3 of a chicken bullion cube and white rice. Will try brown rice next time because I like to switch up our rice recipes between the two.

Awesome herb chicken! I followed the recipe for 4 servings, and used all the seasonings for two good sized boneless-skinless breasts. We will definitely use this recipe again and again!

Basil Beans

Very tasty! We used dried basil because that was all we had. When our basil plant has more growth I will try fresh, I'm sure that would be great too.

Seasoned Couscous

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2011
Highly recommended....especially if your new to couscous like we are. I love using herbs in our meals--they have such an amazing flavor. Cooked for 10 minutes instead of 5, as that is what the directions were for our couscous, and it was perfect. I would make this again.

Good, very quick and easy to make. We left in the tomatoes and omitted the onion. A tad on the spicy side, but made a good meal for a change of pace. Thanks!

The bomb!! I will make these again and again!! I added 1/4 tsp basil and 1/4 tsp garlic powder to the butter mixture. I used less butter than called for as well and herb biscuits were still buttery-delish! Thank you for a superb recipe!

This is the best chili I've ever made. The seasoning was just right. I added 2 cups extra water since I was using the crock pot and wanted to fill it. Cooked on high for 5 hours. I also added garbanzo beans. Great recipe!

Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2012
A keeper! I used diced 1 lb celery, 1 onion and sauteed in 4 garlic cloves and 1/4 cup butter. I then added 1 lb of chopped carrots, 3 lbs trimmed and cubed chicken breast, 8 cups water, 2 cups chicken broth, 1 pack of bullion cubes, 2 tbs pepper, 2 tbs parsley, 2 bay leaves, and let simmer on the stove top of 3 hours. I used egg noodles and store them separate from the soup. FABULOUS!!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2011
Delicious Indeed! I made this recipe x5 and used the ham bone in the boil, doubled the pepper, and added chives. No need to change a thing, really it is great as is. Soup was "thinner" right off the stove, but thickened up tremendously the next day after refrigeration. The whole family enjoyed this one. Thank you!
