Crispy Chicken Strips

Great recipe! I seasoned the chicken with salt, pepper and just a little bit of garlic. Used 2 eggs, Italian bread crumbs, and mashed potato flakes -- fried until dark brown. Very tasty! Thanks!

Chicken and Stuffing Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2010
The chicken turned out very tasty, but the stuffing was a too moist, so I added extra cooking time which only helped so much. If it weren't for the kick from the apples, I don't think this would have been a very good combo. I used boneless chicken breast, boxed stuffing that I added apples with (sauteed over stove with butter before adding to dry mix), cream of celery soup, cream of chicken soup, and evaporated milk.

Cheesy Hash Brown Bake

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2010
I made the hash browns by shredding a few gold potatoes. I followed the directions with little change. Thought it was a bit too soupy, but my boyfriend and his dad thought it was tasty and really good.

Apple Turnovers

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2010
A keeper! I used the lemon and water to soak the apples, used a little less brown sugar, and I used flour to thicken instead of corn starch. Puff pastry sheets were easy to use and very tasty.

Homemade Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2010
Italian Bread crumbs (Stater bro's brand) was a little bland...maybe next time I would use a better bread crumb mix (Procresso, custom...), also it lacked the cheesy flavor I was looking for. I added Ham to the casserole mix as my own modification to get protein out of dinner. Probably should of added more ham. Would try again with maybe more cheese and ham flavoring.

Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2010
Super tasty beefy sage style pork, Way way tender falling off the bone status. Did mashed potatoes and green beans that complimented them great! Next time I will try boneless chops to avoid the fat & wasted bone weight.. but chops are pretty cheap anyways!

Lemon Rice Pilaf

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2010
Super super lemon and beyond taste! Did not include onion, and just went with everything else. Used fresh lemons (rinds and juice) , fresh parsley, and fat free low sodium swansons broth. Complimented out Lemon pepper chicken breast marinated overnight PERFECT!. Super lemon/bitter taste manageable balanced taste just right. On the side we included pineapple chunks, went perfect with the taste! Very recommended dish, will try s quarter onion next time (full onion seems over bearing).

Irish Stew

Great authentic Irish stew! I cooked the lamb shoulders and all other ingredients - including rosemary and parsley in the crock pot for 5 1/2 hours on high. Served in bread bowls from Panera Bread shop. This was a hit! Super tasty and fulfilling!

Taco Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2010
Tasty Spanish rice! I did not use the instant rice, so it did need extra time to cook. I probably should have boiled the mixture longer before turning on low. He gave it a 3/5, this isn't really his preferred flavor of rice, but he agreed it would be good rice for a burrito or tacos. While I give this a 4/5 - the cheese and sour cream gave it a creamy texture and topped of the delicious flavor. Good recipe! Would make again.
