My Louisiana Red Beans and Rice

Outstanding, makes a lot four of us ate heartily for two days and we had a full meals worth left after that. Great flavor with just the right bite. Did cut the water a touch and added the bay leaves as someone suggested. Thanks for the recipe. Very good.

Authentic, No Shortcuts, Louisiana Red Beans and Rice

Bread Machine Cardamom Bread 2

I did not make this in the bread machine but thought it was great. The alterations I made were minimal such as proofing the yeast (adding water and sugar) and double rising it. Then baking in an oven about 45 minutes at 350. I also buttered the top about 35 minutes in. The bread was a bit heavy but delicious. Would definitely make again.

Cumin-Coriander Pork Rub

Had this tonight with pork steak, presents a very complex flavor and an overall unique taste. It is one of those tastes you can't get enough of. Followed the recipe to the letter and the meat was tender and juicy. Would recommend it and will use it again. Everyone raved including my finicky 80 plus year old parents.
