Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2009
The brownies were very moist and good. My kids really liked them. I tried making the frosting but it was so runny I didn't use it. It didn't need frosting anyway and would have sickening sweet for my personal taste. I'll make again!

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2010
My family loved this. I used boneless chops. I also only baked for 30 minutes total and heated the gravy in the microwave and then poured on the last 10 minutes of baking. I added a little beef bouillon granules to the gravy to give it some flavor and color. The coating loses its crispness when baking with foil on it. That didn't bother us any. This would be great for company since it looks and smells wonderful.

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2010
I took this to a Thanksgiving dinner and everybody RAVED about it and thought it must have been hard to make. If you like peanut butter - you have to try this!

Stuffed Green Peppers I

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2010
My husband said these were the best stuffed peppers he'd every had. The peppers were very good and not at all bitter like I've had in the past. Very good!

My kids loved these and said I need to make only this kind of mashed potatoes in the future! That is fine with me - these are super easy.

Lemon Garlic Tilapia

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2010
These are delicious and super easy. I just sprinkle on some garlic salt instead of minced garlic and add a sprinkle of seasoned salt. Bake these for 10 minutes and they'll be perfect every time - and I've made them several times. 30 minutes is way too long. My whole family loves this and it's so quick and easy!

Bubble Pizza

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2010
I made this as written. My family didn't like it at all. Tasted like pizza on biscuits. I won't be making this again.

Hash Brown Casserole II

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2011
This is a yummy crowd pleaser everybody looks forward to. Two good options are to use frozen O'Brien potatoes (diced potatoes with onions, red and green peppers) which makes it look pretty too. Another good option is to throw in a bag of real bacon bits.

Acorn Squash

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2011
This is delicious but better if you cut in half then cut a touch off the bottoms so they sit flat and then bake them all face up the 2nd half with the butter and sugar. I use a rimmed cookie sheet. Cinammon and nutmeg sprinkled on top is good and looks pretty. My husband doesn't like it sweet so his is butter only. My whole family enjoys this.

This is great guacamole. Add some lime juice to help it keep its color. I also added some cumin for extra zing. Yummy, easy and everybody loves it.

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2011
This was delicious. I followed a few other suggestions which included: Use fresh broccoli and double the amount, used 1 lb. Velveeta and 2 cups sharp cheddar, 2 cloves fresh garlic and mixed cornstarch with last can of chicken broth. Definite keeper!

Marinated Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2012
I have made this a couple times for company and received rave reviews. Today I made it using boneless pork loin chops instead of chicken. Delicious with either one. I also cut back on the soy sauce and quadrupled the horseradish. Great go-to recipe for company and nice that it has to marinate a while giving you plenty of time to do other things. 6-8 hours is plenty.

Chewy Red Raspberry Squares

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2012
All I had was strawberry preserves and I also used vanilla instead of almond extract. These were very quick and easy to make and were delicious. Moist and chewy. I'm sure you could use any flavor preserves!

Real Italian Calzones

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2012
We really liked this a lot. I used mozarella rather than cheddar. You can alter fillings to whatever you like. I'd like to try chicken and spinach too. Fun to make too!

Outrageous Warm Chicken Nacho Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2013
Delicious recipe. Will definitely make again, especially to take somewhere. Used half sharp cheddar cheese and some extra taco seasoning and black beans. Didn't use jalapenos but did add Frank's hot sauce and some habanero sauce to taste. My family loved it!
