Cheesy Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2013
Very good, but I changed it slightly. I browned my chicken in a bit of EVOO, seasoned with garlic & onion powder. Followed recipe from there except instead of croutons, I sprinkled in about 2-3 Tblsp of Hormel Bacon bits. Baked covered in foil for about 45 minutes & served over egg noodles. Pickiest child on earth loved it! Thanks for sharing!

Simple Time Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 10, 2012
I didn't find these nearly as good as most reviewers, but my chops were very thick-cut. I think it's worth another try with a thinner chop.

Slow-Cooker Hearty Beef Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2012
This was really good for such an easy recipe. I did alter slightly by omitting the corn and adding some green pepper and chopped garlic. I feel foolish that it never occurred to me to use salsa as a chili base, thanks for sharing!

Chicken Scarpariello

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2011
I thought this was as simple as it was delicious. Thanks to all who suggested thickening the sauce, which is an absolute must in my opinion!

Chicken and Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2011
This was surprisingly good, but I did make minor changes. I sprinkled the chicken with garlic powder and mixed a can of Cream of Mushroom with about 1/2 cup of chicken broth and only 1/4 cup mayo. I placed frozen broccoli on the bottom of my casserole dish, spooned some of the soup mixture on that, put my skillet-browned chicken on top of the broccoli then spooned the rest of trhe soup mixture on the chicken. From there I sprinkled with the parm cheese and baked per the recipe. I served this with egg noodles, which was delicious topped with the broccoli and sauce. My maniacally picky 9-year old ate a huge plateful! Thanks for sharing!

Easy and Elegant Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2011
I don't know if I would use the word elegant, but the sliced meat does present nicely. I followed the recipe as written, just added some garlic powder, salt and pepper to the meat before coating with the crumbs. Very good!

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2011
Followed the recipe as written. It was just OK, nothing amazing. Totally edible, but don't think it was worth making a 2nd time. Sorry.

Bacon Wrapped Pork Medallions

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2011
Was expecting more based on the reviews. I found it to be a lot of work for the end result. Tasty enough, but not a major thrill.

Slow Cooker Pork Chops II

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2010
This was a great dish! My extremely picky husband and son both loved it, though I made minor changes. I coated the chops in a little flour to thicken the sauce, and cooked on high for only 3 hours. Next time I will cut back on the poultry seasoning, it was a bit too strong for my taste, but the texture of the chops was great and the sauce very tasty. Went great with mashed potatoes! Thanks for sharing!!

Mom's Best Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2009
BLESS YOU! This is the first pork chop I could get my 7-year old to eat, and he even finished a whole one! The only thing I changed was how long I finished them in the oven; only needed about 20 minutes for thin chops. Thanks for sharing!
