Raspberry Lemon Muffins

Reviewed: May 17, 2011
Delicious! I doubled the recipe and I used vanilla yogurt, 3 c of frozen strawberries (with it's juice), and left out the lemon extract (and left all else the same). I put the batter in a 9x13 pan and baked at 400 for 30 min. Came out moist and delicious!

Adding onion, garlic and green pepper to the chicken when cooking it in the fry pan makes this recipe a 5 star!

Pork Chops with Onions and Apples

Interesting mix of flavors. We've never tried apples and onions mixed together before, so these flavors may just not be for us. Maybe we'll give it another try again sometime and add more brown sugar.

Delicious! Grilled chicken turned out moist and very flavorful. Marinated for 2 hours and basted with saved marinade while grilling also. A winner!

Sunday Chicken Supper

We could barely eat this meal. The thyme and basil ingredients were way too overpowering. For our tastes, it needs a different spice.

Turkey-Tomato Pasta Sauce

Reviewed: May 17, 2010
Good! One of the best-tasting turkey recipes I've found so far. I used approx 1/2 lb of ground turkey (since one of the reviews said it was too meaty) and browned per instructions with garlic, onion and olive oil. I used 1 can diced tomatoes, 1 can stewed tomatoes, 1 small can of tomato sauce and 1 can mushrooms. Used a half of 1/4 c. of dried basil instead of the fresh, used the called-for amount of oregano, & added black pepper, garlic powder and sugar to taste. I also added a little water to get the consistency I wanted. Ate with whole wheat pasta and topped with parmesan cheese. Hubby says this is his favorite way to eat ground turkey and wheat pasta!

Chicken Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2009
This is a yummy recipe, but very time consuming. It took me over an hour to prepare before even putting in the oven. In a 9x13 glass pan, I baked it for 30 minutes, instead of 20. I used jarred minced garlic with the chicken and we thought that it was not overpowering at all. I also added crushed ritz crackers on top, which turned out well. I will make this again when I have more time to spare.
