Shoyu Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2015
This is a keeper! Everyone I've ever served this to raves about it. It's excellent cooked over a Weber or baked in the oven. Everything is better over fire, right? :-) I served with sauteed asparagus and baked sweet potatoes. Pretty colors - but the star is definitely the chicken. Also, it's much better with thighs. Thanks for a great recipe!

Slow Cooker French Onion Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2015
I absolutely loved this. However, take the time to carmelize the onions. It's so worth the time because it adds so much character. This is treat - no doubt about it! Thanks for sharing.

So easy - smells great! This is really a winner. My only change is I used Simply Apple juice instead of orange juice. :-( Thanks for sharing.

Stuffed Shells IV

This is a great recipe! I made a couple of minor changes. I used Ricotta cheese because I had it...and it was very good. This time when I made it, I used the Vodka Sauce, and it's really good with the turkey and spinach. Also added some basil and oregano. Thanks for sharing! This is one of my favorites!

Oven Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2011
I love this recipe! So easy and predictable. My only changes were I added either fresh, chopped garlic or a little garlic power. You can also serve with some sour creme for a little extra. Thanks for sharing! It's definitely a keeper.

Chicken Enchilada Casserole II

Reviewed: May 30, 2010
This is so yummy! I made a couple of changes. Roasted a while chicken and shredded it, adding a little sea salt, cumin and garlic powder to the chicken. Changed the sauce - 1 cup sour cream, cream of celery soup, 1 cup salsa, 1 10z can Rotel tomatoes, drained, onion and green chiles (undrained). I agree with another review - this recipe rocks! Thanks for sharing. It will become one of the "stars" of my recipe box.

Oh my! This was so amazing. The only difference was I used whole wheat pasta - and it worked beautifully. Thanks for sharing!

Wow. This is awesome. Only changes - swapped one can of diced tomatoes for Rotel, added 2 cloves minced garlic and some extra shrimp. Served over brown rice. Honestly, it turned me into an eating machine! Thanks for the recipe. It's definitely a keeper.

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2009
Love this! I changed the cayenne to Crystal Hot Sauce because I didn't have cayenne; and change 1 can of beans to 1 cup of corn. It's flavorful, easy to make and healthy! Try it! You won't be sorry. I had to add on - I've made this so many times now and wanted to say thanks to Cathy! I make it as directed, and it's fabulous. Sometimes I add sour creme with the cheese. You can do the prep with this and leave everything but the beans in a slow cooker and add the beans at the end.

Shrimp Gazpacho

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2009
This is completely lovely! It is just perfect for any number of occasions - but especially a summer evening. The fresh vegetables make a beautiful presentation - and the flavor matches. I cut the shrimp in half to better fit in a spoon and added some hot sauce. It was served with green chili cornbread. Yum! This is a winner, I've already passed this on to friends. I have to thank Dawn again! I have made this many times. It's definitely a summer favorite.
