Tasted great. I think next time a little more Cream of Chicken soup would make them taste better but over all very good recipe.

Power-Packed Breakfast Smoothie

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2010
Really really excellent... also tastes good if you add some flax seed.. you can mess with the ingredients until you find out what you like... the frozen banana and the oatmeal give this smoothie a great texture

Slow Cooker Apple-Scented Venison Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2010
A good way to make a venison roast... we are use to the "gamey" taste so it doesn't bother us... this recipe worked well... I served it over noodles... but it was too juicey... next time i will try over mashed potatoes to soak up the juice... the meat tasted good though... next time I will season it with atleast salt and pepper... and it was super super easy to make

Creamy Chocolate Cupcakes

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2010
These cupcakes were very good I made them for my girl friend for her birthday they turned out wonderful... the only thing i didn't do was put the nuts on top because I wanted to frost them... which i did with Chocolate Frosting I as suggested by another reviewer.... another thing that I will be sure to do next time is take a toothpick and spread the batter over the tablespoon of cream cheese mixture, because the ones I did that will turned out wonderful... where as the others caved in a little bit... But over all Great Cupcake recipe... and will make again

Chocolate Frosting I

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2010
This Frosting Recipe is good.... but I will have to agree with the other reviewers that I did tend to taste a little powder sugary..... But still very creamy and good.... next time I will try adding more butter and cocoa.... Will definately use again though

Horseradish Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2010
We usually just prepare our horseradish that grows wild in our garden by adding vinegar and a little sugar... but I wanted to try making the creamy sauce like you can buy in the store... and this came acceptional close to it... very good flavor but far from being as hot as our normal prepared.. I like mine hot so I doubled the horseradish and cut back a little on the sour cream and mayonnaise... it tasted good will make again... espically if it keeps well because I made A LOT!!

Wheat Crackers

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2010
So Simple... Such Basic Ingredients.... Tasted a little bland but great with cheese spread... next time I will try different variations... and be sure to bake until very crispy (to do this I roll mine very thin making enough for 4 cookie sheets and bake for 20 minutes)... good tasting though... and for the most part they are healthier and a lot cheaper than the store bought ones..... UPDATE: I subsituted italian salad dressing in for the oil to add more flavor and make these healthier still... turned out very good... I will continue to experiment...next time I will add a little brown sugar and different spices

Cream Puffs

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2010
These turned out very nice... i took the reviewers advice and poked a whole in them when they are done... the trick is to do it at the exact right time wait too long they burn do it too soon they collapse... next time i will try adding vanilla and a little sugar... the filling is what truely makes these taste good... high in calories with the whipping cream but also high in taste... very fun to make

Tangy Cucumber and Avocado Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2010
I love how basic the ingredients are... no soy bean oil dressings or anything just a basic good for you salad.. the only place the calories are coming from is the avocado... but it is also contains loads of fiber... what a great recipe... looks a little green... but green is good right

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2010
I made this for a church function and everyone loved it. I did cut back on the sugar and water over the apples because I had relatively sweet apples. Very good basic apple crisp will continue to make. Also a good recipe to use if you have an abundance of apples.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2010
Great Pie... I only wish I would have read the other reviews before making.... next time I will use only 6 large apples (8 large is too many)... I will try adding some cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla to the sugar and butter mixture..... then I will pour the mixture over the apples reserving some for the top.... then I will put the top crust on and spread some more on that... thanks to the other reviewers for these tips.... with those changes theis pie should be Perfect.... thanks Grand Ople

Baked Macaroni and Cheese III

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2010
It is the only Baked Macaroni and Cheese I have tried so I don't have much to compare it to... all I can say is everyone that tried it really loved it and asked when I was going to make it again... easy enough to make... and tasted great... I put this in a 9x13 pan and doubled the evaporated milk and added about another 4 ounce or so of sour cream.... i also didn't measure my shredded chedder cheese I just put on enough to cover with a good layer...

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2010
I would give this recipe more stars if I could... I made it for a fiesta in Spanish Class.... Everyone that tried it loved it.... and the whole class room smelled great as it cooked there all day... I like the homemade tortilla chips but I am sure you could use store boughten chips if you were short on time... great recipe... and to make things better my spanish teacher said it tasted pretty authentic :)

Whoopie Pies

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2010
I made these for a bake sale and they were a hit... I made this recipe because it didn't have any raw eggs in the filling... since I was selling them... the filling in these did tend to taste a little like shortening... but only if you really thought about it... using cake mix made it fast and easy... everyone liked them so I will make again

Swedish Kringles

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2010
I wanted to atempt to make a kringle and this recipe helped me to just that... to me the bottom crust wasn't like that in a kringle you would buy in the store... so next time I think I will try without the bottom crust... but even with it, the kringle tasted very good... I also sprinkled sliced almonds over the top to garnish
